was great! kay did really well on my favorite part of the herald: the news. i didn't like the review on the kingdom though, just because i didn't like the kingdom. the quotes were funny, i think the better version of the one goes something like this "life is the worst std"

Twice now I got LOTM, woot, thanks but I don't think I deserved it there were plenty better pieces then mine but thanks never-the-less. ;D Don't say that! I agonized over the decision. Seriously, it is so hard to pick one piece from a month of pieces. Don't get me second guessing myself! ...and Elephant was a complete surprise to me. I'd never heard of it. It came on IFC when I finished watching another movie and so I just didn't change the channel. It sucked me in.

Thanks Ryan. I actually particularly enjoyed doing the news piece. I may make it a regular thing.

Yes, perhaps I'm biased since I love all his work ... he can make fantastic silent movies I would imagine. He often uses periods of silence or at least only background noise instead of actual character dialogue. Maybe you all could have a piece from this herald on titled Independent Movie of the month or something. good stuff

nice, except the MOTM article. i like victor, but he did not deserve motm. he posted 25 times in December and his rates were terribly short. he has potentially deserved it in other months, but not December.

First and foremost, I've gotta say that I'm glad that Gray is doing a good job picking up and carrying on Gaming Insight. A worthy successor, if you ask me. Anywho, interesting read this month, guys. One article didn't really stand out from the rest, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Should I do more insights like that, sort of a rant, or should I approach it a different way like just facts, not my opinion.

I think you should go for a middle ground, makes it more interesting. I like to hear about gameplay, graphics, and whatnot, but I also like to hear about what you like about the game.

Despite the Holidays, and every thing that has gone on over the past month, you all managed to pull it together. Out Standing. I love it, I think it's a wonderful start to the new year.

Good job Kay. I ask again, lol, how does one get on the staff? When you have the time, PM kay, tell her I said so, and include a sample article about anything you want and what topics you would be interested in writing about. We will look it over and if its of sufficient quality, and we need another writer, we will promote you. If not, we will keep it on file until a position arises.

Good job Kay. I ask again, lol, how does one get on the staff? Usually they start up recruitment from time to time. Though, sometimes different measures are taken,
