Sig designs are dying out guys..
Let me ask you a question. What is the best piece of art you've ever seen? Would you name a signiture? I doubt it highly..
Theres plenty of places on this forum for sigs, i think this is a good idea.

Ovi, swearing has always been allowed, obviously you haven't looked at that post very closely because otherwise you'd notice no swearing was directed at anyone....
Signatures are art yes, but not really a challenge if that is all you create. The point of not allowing them was to expand on people's abilities. Obviously this board isn't working. It'll stay for a few more weeks and then be removed. Just another great idea turned failure... I don't think it is the members fault, as much as the staff, who doesn't even participate in their own battles. Lead by example.

Why? The only reason we didn't continue is because members failed to participate. Why should we continue if no one else will? This is a failed project. As great an idea as it was, no one wants a change to the format.

Why? The only reason we didn't continue is because members failed to participate. Why should we continue if no one else will? This is a failed project. As great an idea as it was, no one wants a change to the format. Not finishing your battle makes other people treat it the same way. Also, it gives the members a great way to see exactly how it is done in a live setting, instead of being thrown out there into something new. The only reason the old board stayed alive so long was due to the fact that people saw that there were threads. They saw something, and decided, what the heck, I'll start a battle. And guess what, a low activity board (pretty high actually, compared to the rest of SSD) is better than one with no activity. You can't say members aren't participating when you don't want to give it a try, yourself. Don't push all the blame on your members, you are supposed to guide them. They do what you do; you can make things trendy. Who is to say it was a great idea? Seems like no one liked it, to me. That doesn't seem to be that great.
