SOTW #61This week we revisited and old favourite, which was movies. We had a nice little collection of signatures, some which were rather varied in style, which is good to see. Here are some of the ones which caught my eye this week, don't feel bad if you aren't included on this list, there are always other chances in future weeks.
Tye - There seemed to be a good amount of colours here, which worked well together, the image in the background and spiderman itself are all placed quite well. I think one problem here is that it wasn't anything special or too original looking. I would of perhaps gone for some smaller text here too. Defiant - I like your mix of colours here, there is also a nice amount of texture in the background too. I think the image in the middle could be better placed, it's cut off at the top. Also your choice of font here could fo been better, it doesn't really seem suitable for the film. Ady - I like your colour choice, the splatters in the background are also rather effective looking, some could be made a little bit darker perhaps. The text is the main thing letting it down, the name of the film is made too small so it seems insignificant, I would place all the text to the left rather than having it scattered around. Jester - Nice idea for the signature here, I like how you have split it into two parts. The contrasting colours here are nice I think that you could place the bottom text on top of the first line of text though. JzEx - This is nice, very smooth looking, quite simple too but effective looking. I think the text would of been nice of one line. The main problem here is that it's a little too similar to some of your other pieces which you have entered here. And for our winner... .Uzukami This signature is the one which stuck me as being the most different. Quite authentic looking with the choice of fonts here. I like the small pattern around the edges. One suggestion would be to make the cities at the bottom line up with the top line. Good Work!

SOTW #62 This week we based the theme on the four seasons. Participants could choose to base it either on one particualar season or all four. We saw a varied collection of entries. Although, there are less entries but the quality seems to be improving. People are more willing to try something different. Here are some of the entries which caught my eye this week. Don't feel bad if you aren't included in the list, there are plenty of other oppertunities.
Jonny - A simple looking signature here, I like how the flower stands out, good quality photo taken with some nice lighting. The flower contrasts nicely with the background. I do think that the text could be made a little bit smaller though. angeloffire83 - The colours here aren't too bad, nice and light, I'd perhaps play with the brightness and contrast more so that the features on your image stand out. You may also want to try some bolder looking text too. Syndrome X - I love the simplicity here, the text arrangement is good and I like how you have placed the leaf, not too sure about the white stroke on the text though. you could take it off and then move the text along slightly. OnyXi - The background colours here are very nice, however the tree could be placed a little bit better in my opinion. I'd perhaps aim to have it so that the tree isn't cut off at the top. I also think a bolder font would be great here. Uzukami - A simple looking signature, with a nice mix of colours. I like the smooth shapes, I would of chosen a brighter colour for the fill though. I'm not too sure about the pixel font here either, they are rather overused these days. OléOléOlé - A rather different interpretation this one which I liked. The simple background works well, and I think the images are very suitable. However, like Uzukami's the pixel font does let it down. Lily - Yet another very colourful looking signature, eye catching and something which is not overpowering. I'm not so keen on the text though. I think it would be fine without any lines or blurs. Finally this week: Ryan is our winner. A nice little idea, very smooth looking signature with effective use of colour. It isn't a detailed signature but it doesn't need to be, simple meaning provided in a simple but effective way. The text suits the piece fine.

SOTW #63This week the theme was based around Good vs Evil, using members own interpretations. This was dissapointing to say the least, not a great deal of entries either, which is a shame. Recently many people have taken part. I'm partly wondering if the theme was not interesting enough (despite initial interest). Also school, latest world events etc may of come into play. Nevertheless, we shall not have a repeat of that again, the next SOTW will be better and I want you guys to really try and make it worthwhile entering this. The list is rather small as a result, but here are the entries that I thought stood out the most as being good.
Callan - Your images here blend in nicely, a good selections. I think you could establish a more defined colour scheme here though. The text arrangement is good, I like your use of different fonts too OléOléOlé - The background is rather interesting looking, it'd be interesting to see what photos you've used here as it all comes together fairly well. I think that your text is the main area for improvement, seems too blurry. Uzukami - A very nice entry, creative like your other entries and yet again managing to make your entry stand out from the crowd. The use of just text here is very effective, clear and subtle variations of colour all work well. Good Job! You are this weeks winner.

SOTW #64A much better week this week, we had a nice selection of entries and quite a few different ones which is always good to see! There was no set theme, so, members were free to use any appropriate style they wanted. It produced some pleasing results. Here is a list of the images that caught my eye this week. Don't feel bad if you aren't included in the list there are plenty of oppertunities mexy time around.
Think Fast - I liked your use of animation here, we don't often allow the animated signatures. I think the animation is done in the way it's supposed to be except the text is very hard to catch. I'd perhaps slow it down slightly. Nice choice of font here. Exultance - I liked your misty looking background, interesting to look at and gives an eery look. The main problem here is the text, I think it would be best without the glow, perhaps try some white instead. Jonny - A simpler style of signature compared to the rest of the entries. The colour from your photo works well and doesn't totally take over the white background. The use of negative space is good. I would perhaps make it so that the two lines of text meet up though. OléOléOlé - I like your idea with the smudged blood however, perhaps drops of blood would be interesting here? Then use of the pen is a nice idea. I don't think your name is really needed at the bottom here. Lily - Yet another very colourful image, which you are able to pull of so well. This one has quite a messy, paint like style to me, which is fine. I think the main problem is the text, it really could stand out more, other than that it's fine. dlt - Impressive looking signature, very eye catching with a suitable range of colours chosen. The orange is good in particular as it contrasts well. My main flaw which I've noticed with this is the little jagged shape after the T. And for our winner... Reedy Well done! I like the dark background and the contrasting pink dotted lines, they intially draw me to the image. The image in the middle is good, while the background is kept very simple but effective. My only suggestion would be a different font for the text.

SOTW #65This week the theme was based around different fears, we had a smaller than expected turnout than last week, hopefully we shall get more entries next time Here are the entries that stood out the most, don't feel bad if you aren't included here, there are plenty of other chances next time around.
Matsuo - I think the background is ok, it's nicely done, although it's a rather common style. I would suggest making the spider a bit smaller, so that it doesn't appear to be cut off or anything. The text is a suitable colour and a nice size. hp.mad_ - I like the simplicity and the use of negative space for this one. I think the photo could do with a little bit of work with the brightness and contrast. I'm not really too fond of the "of" part in the text. I think it would be good if the text wasn't in all caps. @ngeloffire83 - Your idea here was good, I liked the use of the flower and the bees. Although I would of perhaps kept the background much lighter so that the bees stood out more. I think the font could be improved too, try to avoid the pixel fonts here. Rose - Some good texture and variation with the colour here, thats what appealed to me the most. The only issue here is the text really, it's too scratchy looking, ensure that anti alias is off. Remix - The shark here stands out really well against the darker blue background. I do think that the bubbles could be made lighter, or perhaps you could blend in a photo there instead. I think your bottom text could line up a little bit better. And for this weeks' winner, Ryan. I liked the idea here, it immediately caught my eye. The colour is suitable and there is a good focus to the image. I think. Perhaps the text could be aligned so that they were each the same length and perhaps a bit closer together.

This weeks's SOTW was based around Nature, a theme which has been covered a few times in the past with some good results. Unfortunately this week, there was really short turnout and this is reflected in the list, as there are not as many people as usual. Nevertheless, there were entries which did catch my eye and are certainly worthy of a mention here.
Remix - I think I have seen you enter this in another competition or not actually make it for this pupose. However, I do like the simplicity, the cat's eyes could be brighter. Circa - Antother simple idea but the idea works. The main thing which could be improved here is the text. I would try making the second line of text white. Also having it so the text is closer together would be ideal too. Jester - I like the fact that a plain background has been used here, the colour of it suits the pictures used very well. I would perhaps remove the larger cheetah picture, perhaps some leaves or something would look better here. hp.mad_ - One of your better works, I like the flower and the colours which you have chosen here, the text stands out nicely, the only problem is that it is a little big. I wouldn't of used a grunge style background though. Master! - I really liked your choice of colour too, although I think you could make it brighter towards the top of the signature, also you might want to try some text without the picel text. Maybe one particular flower that stands out could be added in your background. And for this week's winner! Jonny, I think the photo is a great idea, especially how you seem to have created a silhouette effect. I also like the contrast between you (I assume) and the sky. My only fault would be text placement, I'd have it off of the tree.

SOTW #67This week the signatures were based around different representations of colour. We had a lot more variations in styles with our entries this week, good turnout too. So a big hello and a cookie to everybody that entered something. Again, don't feel bad if you aren't included on this list there are other chances in which you can enter.
- moogman Your was good colourwise, but it really needed more than the fonts, as they don't really add a great deal of originality. I think the text could be a bit sharper though. That kind of style could work well if it had a more original appeal to it. - Happy! Good mix of colours included in this one, I like the character which you have included on this, I do think it would be good if it didn't overlap so much. I would remove the scanlines effect and aim to make the text sharper. - Mitch. You have some good texture included on this one, which is good, although a simpler style would probably suit the black and white more. You could really do with more of a focus to this one. - Matsuo. The colours you have chosen are really nice, your stock image constrasts with them nicely but not in a way which takes over the image. My main issue here would be with the text, your name would probably be best left off here. The little bird shape is a nice idea, but it doesn't really look like a bird. - Uzukami. I liked this simple idea and the way you have easily included a good variety of colour without it being too overpowering. It just seems a little too simple though compared to some of the other entries. - Crestfallen. Quite a different looking entry here, I'm not greatly keen on the pixel text, since they do tend to get overused quite a bit I think the background could be smoothened out a bit more though, maybe with the pen tool or similar tool with whatever program you have these days And for this week's winner..t0Rn A simple looking signature, but a nice smooth vector image and some slight blue variations, an interesting way of representing your idea too. I think the text would look nicer if was smaller though. Other than that great work!. + Custom Title

SOTW#68 This week we recieved a good quantity of enties of a high standard too, this was of course pleasing to see again, I hope it continues into the other weeks. Here is a list of the entries which I thought were a worthy of a mention here, the list is quite a bit longer than usual. skinny - I like the image to the left here, although I do think that it could be made quite a bit bigger. I think you could do with darkening some of the splatters there too. whee. - I like the different style which you have gone for here, while still abstract it's without the traditional elements of your work, I think you could perhaps bring out some of that pink a little more. I like the way you have arranged the text, perhaps the top line could be a bit clearer though. Crestfallen - Overall this isn't too bad, although the background and text lets it down a bit, I don't think the abstract style backround is needed here. Perhaps you could make the hand smaller so that the finger tips don't go off the signature. Although the text is arranged nicely, the fill and logo next to it let it down for me. Tony - You have included a good amount of detail in here without it looking overpowering. The images fit in well together. It's mainly the text which lets it down here, I would try removing that slight shadow on the text, perhaps you could lighten the text colour a little more. JzEx - I liked the idea behind yours, very creative looking. The colours which you chose here worked really well and you maintained that throughout. Although it does seem a little bit too crowded though. Fire Temptress - This had a nice simple feel to it, although I do think that there could of been more colour included on this one, the plain white leaves it feeling a little bit too empty. The text placement is good however. Rose - This had a nice abstract background here, very smooth and some colour variation, which overall made it an appealing signaure. It's really the text which lets it down though, I would suggest making the text brighter. Rèédy - This was nice too, although it's a little bit similar to some of your other work. I like the background in particular, it doen't overpower at all but the colour has various highlights to help it stand out. I would perhaps reconsider the image placement so that the heads fit on. Plus your text could be bigger. C - Again another signature which has a more unique feel to it, I liked the simplicity in the background and the image to the left. I have no problem with the bold text here, however I do think that it would be better if it didn't overlap. It was a hard decision to come to this week's winner because there were a lot of good entries. Congratulations...Jonny! A rather simple looking signature but when you look at it, it feels more than that. I like the range of colours included from each of your own photos. The main colour for your name is good. I think the text on the right could be moved under your name though. I would also find the shape of the photos and borders adds to the overall appeal of this signature. Well done

SOTW #69This week the theme was based around Destinations, we had an assortment of entries this week, not as many as last week unfortunately, but I do think the theme was a little obscure. Nevermind Here are the entries that I thought were worthy of a mention in this little hall of fame. Don't feel bad if you aren't added, the more you practice the better you will become.
Callan - I liked the kind of urban style you gave yours, although this kind of thing does seem difficult on such a small size, the buildings in particular could stand out more. I like what you have done with your text though. hpmad - I like the simplicity here, it works well, although it just seems like a photo and text. Perhaps you could darken the photo a little bit more, so that the text stands out much more. Ovi [Matrix] - Good colour and texture in the background here, it helps to make it more appealing but without it being too overpowering. I like the flower you have added here. I'm less sure about the text, it seems a bit too chunky. Something which was a little bit thinner could of worked well here. Christie - I liked your simplicity value here, it works well. The main thing that let it down was the overall placement of the text and the border around the orange part. I think it would look better if the text was moved to the right more though. This week's winner is: [TAO REN]! - This was probably one of your best I feel, you have some nice colours here and it fits in really well with the theme, It's done nice and simply but without overdoing it. There are a few little things though, I do think it would be ideal if the characters were smaller, and your text was a little bit darker.

SOTW #70This weeks entries were based on a halloween theme, a variety of different entries were made for this, a good turnout too, so thank you to all that entered something. Here are the entries that I felt were worthy of a mention here, like before not everyone can be included in this list. Don't worrry if you aren't mentioned, you can improve for next time.
OléOléOlé - A very traditionnal looking signature this one, I liked the use of the pumpkin here against a nice plain background. Your text could really be improved though, the font thats been used there is used quite overused, the bottom text could also be a bit brighter. Halloween is also spelt wrong. lpf xd - I thought that this was quite nice, the image and background work well. The text seemed a little bit too small though. Something slightly thicker might be good here. Tony - Once again a very nicely done signature, your image fits in well. You could do with adding a bit more colour though. Secondly, I think your text could made much brighter than it is at the moment. The style of the signature is rather common too. moogman - This was a nice original entry I felt it was really original how you placed everything here, but a lot of it wasn't too smooth. I think you could do with some slightly better text, perhaps in the middle would be a good place. You may also want to reduce the size. Assassinator - I liked this one too, nice originality with the hand sticking out there, I thought the hand would be better if it was more realistic though. The text could also be made so it wasn't so split up onto different lines. This weeks win goes to Jester: I liked your entry, original like a lot of the others but you'd kept away from a typical horror feel which I liked. The little splatter effect looks nice. I do think that text could be better placed though, maybe with a thicker font. Good use of colour too

SOTW #71This week there was no set theme, so there was a wide variety of entries, making this a harder contest to judge than normal. Here are the entries which I thought were worthy of a little mention here. As always don't feel bad if your image isn't included here.
Matsuo - I thought that the texture which you have included here works quite well. The main thing you need here is a little more colour variation to make it more more interesting. Perhaps remove that pixel font. I would also remove the lines there. Mitch - I liked the colours here, the photo used here works really well, gives off a nice summer feel. I think thats what you originally made it for, a while ago. Would of been nice to see something new though. I like how you have arranged your text. dlt - This was a good one, the colours here worked really well, and of course being a vector image is has that nice smooth feel. It's not the most original looking piece though. I think that your text could be a bit bigger too. Jonny - I liked this one, the photo is good, I also like how it's been placed at a different angle. What I'm not so keen on is the purple. The text doesn't really seem to fit together here too well. Nick- Another smooth and original loooking image, I would of liked to see a few more shades of green in here perhaps. I really like the text and it's shape too. Good work. And for the winner: Reedy! This is a great little signature, the image here works well and the shapes and lines around it complement it nicely. The pink and white against the dark background are a good contrast.

SOTW #72Our theme this week was based around winter, a lot of the signatures featuring snow of course. Although, the turnout this week was dissaspointing. Here are the entries which stood out to me the most, like before if you aren't included on the list don't worry, there will always be another chance for you to have a go.
Elfrida - The photo here has a very nice sitting, but I think it looks too small. The uneven black border on here doesn't really work too well. I'd maybe try a simpler style of font here too. lpf xd - This was ok, but like I have mentioned to you before it's really lacking the colour and the text doesn't seem well positioned. The name at the bottom there in particular would be good if it was a little smaller and brighter. SSJ Sonic-X - The colour from the tree here stood out nicely, I think you could of shrunk the tree more though, so that it didn't overlap. The arrangement of the text was nice, but you really needed a darker area for it to be clearer. flipn0tic - A good signature here, the image and colours work well here, the main thing that throws me off is the text on the right hand side, it seems a bit rough and out of place. It would be better with the main text. Ideally a dark border around the signature would be good. Therefore, this week's win goes to: Happy! - The idea here is nice, definately a more creative signature from you! I think that the snowmen here could be brough forward a little more. Secondly, the tree here looks a bit thin. Perhaps make increase the spacing on the winter text too. Congrats!

SOTW #73This week the theme was based around "Outside". This was a very broad theme, which therefore allowed for many different ideas. Slightly dissapointed with the numbers in this one, but hopefull that'll improve with the next. Here are the entries which caught my eye, if you don't get a mention here, don't worry as there are plenty of other chances in the future weeks.
Moogman - I think that this was ok, the cream coloured background seemed to work well. However the cat to the right could be a better colour, it doesn't really fit in with the signature too well. Perhaps you could make the text slightly smaller too. R.I.P. Ovi - I thought that the trees and moon here were a nice touch, although it would be good to see something on the ground. Also I think your text would look better if it was at a horizontal angle. Alphonse - The idea with the bird is nice, I just think that the flag could be brought out much more. Maybe place the text on the top layer so it stands out more. You're improving nicely. strife - This was a nice one, the photo in the background aswell as the shape all work nicely. I think that your text is really too big though, meaning that very little of the nice photo can actually be seen. Finally, for this week's winner I have chosen Crestfallen. This was by far the best entry this week, I really like the soft light and natural looking colours which have been chosen for this. The text is simple and fits the signature really well. The only thing that I can point out here as that I think the border would be nice all the way around.

SOTW #74 This week involved using some set stock images and then using those to create a sig based on anything they liked. A nice turnout here Like before, below are the entries that have caught my eye this week. Others who haven't made it to the list should not be put off, instead have a go next time.
Dante - This used the nice colours from the original image, the main thing that I think was needed here was more variation with light and dark, you could do with perhaps taking out some of the detail to the right. Happy! - Nice idea here, I think the white background works well, the whole signature could be pulled off a little bit better though. Perhaps get rid of the thick border around each of the images. This might look good if the images were made into more random and interesting shapes. Perhaps a few more shapes and lines in the background that have brighter colours. @ngeloffire83 - Not a bad signature here either, the angle of the extra photo is quite good, although I'd make it smaller slightly. Maybe you could add some more colour through this, like some small hints of blue? The text could also be a little bit clearer. exultancecnatluxe - Not bad colour here either, I think the ape would of looked better if you had kept it to just the one image. I think a more blocky font would of worked well here. Tony - The colours and images work well here, you have managed to produce another quite clean looking signature. Well Done. I think you could improve the text though, I would try it without any blending options on it. Also, you could try getting the text, so that it is less spread out. dlt - I thought that this was a nice little representation, each of the images there fits in with the dark background nicely. What might of been nice is some more intesting shapes used for each fo the image, so they kind of slotted together more, like a jigsaw. For this week's winner: something completely random (c130) A really well done signature, the colours and slight grainy effect suit each other well. I like the position of the flowers here too, they seem to add extra warmth to the image. The text is simple, but a good size and does the job Good Job!

SOTW#75This week the theme was based around words, this is a more open theme allowing much more more freedom and diversity with the signatures. However, I think the turnout for this could of been better. Lets aim for a better week next week. These are the entries which had caught by eye and what I felt were worthy of a mention here.
seventeen - I like the fact that you have attempted some kind of typography, but I think it needed to look a bit more organised. It seems quite random at the moment. Nice idea though. @ngeloffire83 - The image that you chose here, worked well with your chosen word, I think that the background could of done with a being lighter for it to work with the photo. I would try to avoid the script fonts here too. Nathan - I think that the light pastel colours go nicely, but the text is really the main downfall here, it would be really good if it stood out, you have to strain your eyes to see it at the moment. Ovi [Hitman] - I think the eyes from the image work well, the skin on the image is quite common really though with these kind of manipulations. I think that the text would of been good if you had of kept it all white. A clear winner this week: Assassinator A nicely done image here, I liked the splatters you have included here it's certainly not the usual style you see for "Love". I would of gone for a bolder looking font.

SOTW #76
This week SOTW followed a theme based around food, very few restrictions on this too. Despite this, the turnout was very dissapointing. Perhaps it was a bad theme, perhaps people couldn't be bothered. Either way that is reflected in this weeks list. After looking through all the entries there was only one that stood out to me as being worth a mention in here. Sorry to all the others who did enter but I know a number of you can do better. @ngeloffire83 - This week had a clear winner. The colours here are good, the fruits in the background of course work well with the background. My suggestion to improve this one would be to remove the pattern in the background. Perhaps some bigger text would be ideal here. Well Done

SOTW 77&78 This week's SOTW was based around christmas, a common theme which I expected to see a larger turnout, despite it being extended for two weeks, a real shame. Thus, this week's list will be shorter of course. Nevertheless, there is some people that do deserve a special mention and of course a winner. Refused-Violation - I thought that the idea here was good, but the snow flakes could be a bit more varied. Maybe the dog to the right would be better if it was made smaller I'm not so keen on the text effect here either. Ideally, keeping it simple works the best. Nemesis Zero - I think that this would look better if it used more colour, it's rather flat at the moment, perhaps other shades of blue or maybe even some red in there too. The shape is nice here with the holy sticking out to the left. Raid* - I liked the fact that you'd kept the background nice and simple, but I'm not so sure about the font choice here, a smoother look would of worked better. The colours here are fine SSJ Sonic-X - I thought that the image that you used here worked well, but the the text was the main let down here due to the fact it's not that easy to see. Nice colour choice though And for this week's win, it goes to ¡enigma! for this very traditional looking christmas signature, the images here worked well together, providing a nice amount of color throughout. The text isn't my personal choice however, it is clear and easy to read. Congratulations! Your 2nd SOTW win

SOTW #79 This week there was no set theme allowing people a little more freedom with their entries, a much better turnout than on previous weeks Below are a list of those people who's entries who I thought were worthy of a mention
Syntax - The interface here was nice, the metallic look works well here The image blended in doesn't work so well though. OléOléOlé - This was a rather different looking signature, I think that it could be improved with some clearer looking text. But otherwise the colours here and the simple background work well together. Assassinator - This has a nice textured background to it, however, the blending could be better so it has more of a focus to it. I think the text is the main let down here. Something smaller would be more ideal here and less spaced out. .birdman - A very bright looking signature, so it's eye catching and the background does look appealing. I'd maybe tone down the brightness slightly though. Also you could do with clearer text. Integrity - The orb here is nicely done, the colours in the background work well together. The simple looking text works well, although I do think it could be made smaller just a little. I'd maybe remove the pattern and pixel text though. jaj43123 - A Close Winner. This is nice, the texture and eye in the background works well. The colours that come through here are appealing to the eyes. My main issue here is the text and which doesn't seem to fit, the script font isn't ideal here. I'd aim for something which is straighter, it'd make a lot of difference. And for the winner: bratzer The soft brushed background here works well and I like it how you have kept the colour slightly varied, the image added works well too. Good placement. I think the text could be a little bigger but on the whole it suits

SOTW #80This will be my last time running signature of the week, it's a very sad day I know. However, I will be monitoring it very closely when the new moderator is introduced, and will help them through their first few weeks. So, this week the theme was a nice one, based around relationships. This can branch off into a number of different interpretations. Not a huge turnout this week and that is reflected in this weeks list.
[Faint] - Not a bad entry this one, the colours are nice, I like the fact that its not been left as just one plain colour. The blending here could be improved upon though, seems seem to just be overlayed at the moment. I would make the right side of the signature darker so that the text stood out more. 1zer0 - The idea here is nice, very simple but it just doesn't seem to be quite pulled off as well as it could be. I think the background would be best left without the faded red. The text could also be placed beneath the photos too. bratzer - Not bad, the background here is nice, but it doesn't really fit in with the theme so well, it's best left as an abstract signature. The images on the otherhand work quite well. For this week's winner it is Jonny! The orange from the leaf on the tree is brought into the main colours of the signature which is one of the parts I like about it it. The text has a great little arrangement and fits in really well. Congrats

SOTW 81 Hello there SOTW-ers. This is my first time doing this, but with lots of help from Oliver I've set everything up and I'm ready to go. I never really realised how much work it was to decide on a winning signature. I've picked one today that I think really suited the theme of minimalism and I hope you guys agree. Not alot of entries this week as I had hoped for, so the list is shorter than what I would've hoped to write.
Ovi - I think that your signature was very neatly planned, had a nice composition, and had a very nice general impact on the viewer. It also fit into the theme. However, I think that the effort level put into this signature was not as high as some of the other signatures. Visigoth - I really like the idea here, and you've played off having a subtle, white, cloud/dark, contrasting blue background very well with one focal point. But, the text could've used quite a bit of work. I think that you could've found a more approriate font and perhaps positioned it in the blank, blue space above in a white or lighter font. LPF - The one thing that really sorta puts it off for me in this signature is the text. I think that a) the font for the text 'metabee' could've been better selected so it could be more ledgible, and b) the sub-text could've had a lighter or darker colour so that it would've been easier to read as well. I would also consider making both sides of the character the same colour, as to fit with the minimalistic style. bratzer - I really like this signature because it fits in the theme so well. It's so simple, using only 2 shades(black and white are not colours ) However, the text I think could've been more clear, as right now the edges are a bit more pixel-ly. Perhaps using an anti-alias like sharp, smooth, or crisp might make it better. xephra - I love the colours used in this one. Especially how you've subtly added a background effect so barely noticeable I had to check twice to see if it was there. The one thing I don't like the position of the 'explosion'.(I'm not sure what to call them, the long, spiky thing) I think it might be better if there were more of them, or if it was smaller. I'm also not a fan of the yellow fringe you've added here. And, finally we have our winner. Our winner this week is SniperJrd. In his signature he used colours that were not hard on the eyes, but rather invited the viewer to view the details of his signature. The font fits perfectly with the vector. The one thing I might've changed was to add a bit more empty space around the focal vector to make it more minimalistic.
