Yah, Assasinator I wasn't too er--pleased when I read that. It's very hypocritical of you, you know. Basically what you're saying is that we shouldn't have a section for one group but have one for another because you're in it. Backing me up only to prove an unrelated point for personal gain, sorta.

Crazed, that's nice of you to offer to help. Yes, I'm afraid I wouldn't be of much help graphical-wise, I'm quite rusty and it's been a very long time since I have made any graphics, but I would be willing to contribute an article or two about the staff, forum or past events.

About the whole 'veteran' thing, I agree with what Squallie first said on page 2, now I know that some of the register dates are off, but I know that I was here since 2003 at least, I just became unactive for a while due to personal/family issues. But basically, if it's not done, that's fine, it was just a suggestion.

People who contributed greatly to SSD should have a place in the "Veteran" section. People who were staff, coders, art people (to contribute to SSD), skin-makers (to contribute to SSD), etc.

I think the Yearbook should be made with Flash like the Herald from Blue Spectrum, but the graphics should actually look like a yearbook. That would be sweet. I think the pages should be sort of like a regular yearbook with pictures of each person (or no picture if that person chooses), with something short written by them. I also think at the beginning there should be a page or two written telling about the history, what SSD has gone through, etc. Those are all my suggestions for now. ;D

I suggest it should be on the main page. I don't know what format. HTML, I think.

It should actually look like a book with turning pages and such. But, i just dont think there are any good flash artists here that would be able to produce something like that. But I do agree that the graphics should resemble an actual yearbook. Maybe have it look like a book sitting on the top of a desk or something.Dont know how hard that would be, but it would be pretty cool looking.

Plus, it'd be neat if things added to make it look real. You know like people's pics we find on the internet drawn on - fake mustaches, devil horns, etc. The small touches that would make it fun.

Exactly. Kind of like some side notes just to make it fun and make it look like a real yearbook.

Yeah, most of us here, usually has at least one pic of ourselves that could be contributed. But the thing on the turning the pages, that would be awesome. But like you said, I don't think we have any really good flash artists here.

Well, instead of actually turning the page, we could just make it a graphic by making it look like the corner is peeling back. I mean, it doesnt have to actually work, but we can still make it look like a real book. Lans nows how to do the "peel the corner" thing and I've seen several tutorials on how to do it.

Or you could jusy link it up like with the Herald back in version 4. You'd click on the page tabs and voila.

pfft, how should you none coders know if it'll be easy or not the current coding mods should be able to handle it with ease , but you can do the same with Flash right?
