Ok, hers the deal. (no spelling error, meant to be like that.)
Overall:I plan on having 3-4 designs on which the community will vote on. All designs will be done by my self or josh and design submissions will be judged by a panel of secret members. These secret members will help judge upon the final two that will be created by the members to be voted on. I'm looking for our photoshop junkies to pitch in on this and submit some things. Unfortunately, since this is mainly a member ran project, that means that we will have to limit submissions to a number of 20. If we get any more then that (unlikely) then either josh or my self will choose which ones are to be entered.
Design:All designs must contain colors that appear on the both the ssd web site or the ssd forum. No other colors are to be added. Cards need to be of a reasonable size, this will be decided once proper arrangements are made for this project.
User Image: Users may give the designers one image to use as a personal picture (think the pictures on Pokemon cards) with the maximum dimensions of 110x110. All images must be scaled previous to submission unless notified prior to sending.
Personal Text: Personal Text will be submitted during request. I will provide a code where all of the preferences will be submitted. Submitted preferences are final. We have the right to refuse obscene or offensive personal text. Actually doing so, well, thats a different story.
Attributes placement: Placement of attributes (personal text, user image, name, rank, etc) will be strictly Dependant upon the lay out of the final design. Upon finishing the final design we will notify all members of their options with a post in the chill out section or community projects section.
Voting: Voting will be held over a period of one week. After the one week voting period has ended we will then begin to take requests. We will take an unlimited amount of requests. All decisions on the display of your trading card would be final. Exceptions to this of course would be errors in spelling (intended wrong spelling that was properly dealt with, etc..) and things of that matter.
I want some of you to give me input on this and let me know what you think of requirements, etc.
