Its been hitting hard the past few days, I had soo much trouble making one single post one time, it almost killed me.
It was going down all day yesterday, central time from like noon to 8pm. And some last night here and there...
WTF? Is this just happening to me? Because I saw posts still come up during those times.

I had the same problem. We have a popular server I guess. What I did was refreshed the page and while it was reloading, stopped it. Then refreshed it again and it worked. Maybe an F5 could help.

I suppose that's when the 15th and 16th server comes in handy..
If 17th is overloading, switch to 15 or 16.

17, 16 and 15 are the same server I believe. I've noticed it too recently, if it carries on I can mention it to Proboards. However, please do not constantly refresh when you receive the error as that will put more strain on the server.

Yeah, the domains "proboards15.com", "proboards16.com", and "proboards17.com" are all directed to the same server. It wouldn't be possible to run the same exact message board across multiple servers. I'm sure Martyn already knows of the issue, however. He actually has it setup so he is sent a text message on his cell when there's an issue with the server. So I'd just wait it out. As it stands, the issue seems to be resolved anyways. The server is reading as okay.

It's happened so much that the second result for a Google search of "ssdesigns" results in a page titled "Too Many Connections."
Again, the only thing you can do is wait and not refresh every two seconds. I doubt any of us have any time-sensitive or extremely urgent posts to make.
