...has been going downhill for a while now. Critique is dead, Coding support is dead, SOTW is dead, and so on. Chillout seems to be the only semi-active board.
I logged on today, and noticed that there were over 70 guests online and I was the only member logged on.
Now, I'm about to suggest the un-thinkable, but it might be needed to give SSD some rejuvenation. Just remember the days when you could get multiple critiques in just one day, instead of waiting weeks. It was great.
I'm suggesting to make the code index and such, member only. I know! It's against the principles of SSD and everything, but the inactivity lately is getting out of hand.
Maybe if these guests that are mooching off the code index register, they'll post in the chillout or critique or even enter a siggy into the SOTW. Who knows.
That is all, max (knighty)

And what makes you think people wont join up and mooch instead? That is the reason we made it guest viewable ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) And again, if you have ideas for activity suggest them, it's all well and good saying there isn't as much activity as there used to be, that's pretty much obvious.

We are aware of these problems.
I've just left the coding support area as it is for a while now, we don't have the proper strength to keep up with that. If people want Proboards Codes they are tending to visit, Proboards Support, that makes sense.
As for the other areas, they are to be worked on. SOTW will be back again Monday, since David is stepping down.
Critique, I shall look into a new moderator for it.
