I don't see anyone.
Why can't you look?
Look to other big boards and offer mod places here.

I'd be happy to moderate the critique part of the board. I've done Ratings/Critique board mod for various small forums, and bigger forums as well such as ZD and Kronos Studios.
I seriously want to "work" on this forum and give something to it, rather than posting around here and there, and throwing responsibility at me would give me motivation to actually post and keep a board active as possible.
However, I personally do think that I haven't given my full effort on supporting SSD as a member due to the past's lack of time, but as of 3 days back (finished taking my pre-SAT and pre ACTs and other various tests), I can seriously put some time into this forum as a moderator or a member.
It's not like I want this position desperately, as I don't. It just looks to me that I can help the critique board out, not only as a member, but going even further as a moderator as well.

See, there are people that want to do it, but don't currently because they don't have the position and don't think they'll get recognised.
Just takes a little effort guys.

People who are interested in the job will participate in the board. That's how it's always been- and I feel like anyone who has been around SSD for long enough understands that we moderate people who set a good example in a board. If there is someone who consistently makes good critiques, this is who will be modded.
In a board like Critique, this method is especially obvious. For anyone who is interested enough to make an application- the best way to apply is really to do the job. In a board maintained by an administrator looking for someone else to moderate, you're certain to get noticed much faster than you might somewhere else.

That's what I've been starting to do as of today since I've been getting more free time. No one should mod a board if they haven't shown clear dedication to it. In the past, I used to be a regular critique person in SSD, and most know about my general dedication to a critique board which I generally am active in; it's just that the past 3-4 months my Internet activity overall was completely down. So hopefully, within the next few days, my activity in the Critique Board will be at its max.

I think Mukei would be a great moderator for the critique board, too.
He has been really active their lately, and really helpful with critiquing my Forum.

I always thought that SSD had the greatest policy for choosing their mods...
You do the job, then you get the perks.
Meaning just act like you're the mod there (don't mini mod, but just behave as you would if you were mod), and you'll probably get it. Do the best you can with no authority, and wait to be given authority. Because, hypothetically, the end goal is to make the board better, not be a mod.
Or at least it should be...
