Since v6 doesn't seem to be coming out any time soon, what would be the real harm in fixing the background problem? As I said before, all you really have to do is align it to the center and set it to repeat-y. It would be worth it to at least try, right?

I could fix it quite easily. =/ It isn't hard to do at all. You just set the overflow.

Of course! overflow-x: hidden;. Have you tried that? Hidden? You crazy? That'd hide the ads. Hello ToS violation. Now, "overflow-x: visible" should do the trick. w3schools should have more on it if you want to look into it.
