When viewing a thread at a high resolution, the tables are stretched outside the border and head/base image widths. This is because the text areas are wider. Use this code: <style> textarea{ width: YOURWIDTHHERE; } </style>
And that should fix it. That WILL change ALL text boxes, so be careful! Forms will be unaffected, but all boxes will be affected. If you don't like that, have one of your coders put it in an if statement to check that they're viewing a post. Just a suggestion. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) ~Mastermind

What resolution do you happen to be using?

1280x1024. If you just use the same % you used in your forum resize code, it should work. Maybe 1% less, for borders and whatnot.. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) ~Mastermind

I use that resolution, the only time the tables stretch are when somebody has a large image or posts a long link.
Or are you talking about something else?

I haven't noticed any types of stretching except from absent code and links in posts lately. :-\ And the occasional Google ad at the bottom, but that is only when I am using IE.

Hmm. Odd. Maybe it's just because I am using the FireFox that comes with Ubuntu's Dapper Drake Beta. *shrug* Eh, if nobody else has the problem, I can suck up and deal. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) ~Mastermind

I use 1280 x 1024 on my desktop, and rarely have any viewing problems in IE, Fx, or Opera, save for when someone posts something that stretches them on any resolution.
Ony my laptop, I use 1280 x 800 (widescreen, w00t), and don't have an issue either.
What is "Ubuntu's Dapper Drake Beta", if you don't mind me asking. If this causes issues, I'm going to want to make sure any future coding doesn't have issues.
