Redirection for the site

The site has all these long addresses. I was thinking that simply adding a new folder like solidsnakedesigns.com/templates/ and having it redirect to the templates link would make everything a lot easier and tidier. You wouldn't have to change the system or anything, just add the folders in and set the buttons to link there.

remove the session id though, that shortens it and the link still works www.solidsnakedesigns.com/index.php?page=alltutorials

Not quite as simple as that, we use a content management system, I'll have to have to ask around and see if something like mod_rewrite could be used.

The one that E posted is better, but still is too long I think. And I thought Peter handcoded it all? I didn't think he used a content managing system. Oh well

The PHP session numbers are random. They appear sometimes, and sometimes they don't. There's no way around it from what I know.

They are there if the cookie hasn't been set to the best of my knowledge, like when you don't allow cookies from ssd's site.

As for the folders, that's very simple with mod rewrite, I could even do that for you if you want ollie, as long as elixant supports it

One quick fix would be to stop using index.php? and just put ?, it will automatically assume index.php Ofcourse if you didn't use an URL generator type function then it would be messy buisness.
