I don't feel, to be quite frank, that the photography board has enough activity to stay open. I'm really sorry jonny, it's just the way I feel. The literature board has more activity a month than the photography. I believe that there just aren't enough photographers in this forum to sustain a photography board. All the recent posts have to made by mainly two people, some of them quite spammy. It's being kept alive by very new members. I don't see it surviving the way it is. Jonny, you need to do something about it, get up some activity. Everytime I come back to the main page of the forum everyday, I hardly ever see a new thread or post in the photography board.
That's just what I think anyway.

I think merging Photography and Show off would be good. Not as a sub board, just adding photography rates to the show off board and have jonny co-mod it with you Oliver, that is if Jonny's plans don't work of course.

We'd really like to get it away from just commenting though, thats not what it all should be about.

in my view jonny's board is not the only un-active board at the moment, digital art is the same way just a lil bit activer than photography board . You might want to consider that one too Oliver Good luck! looking forward to see the new changes in photography board

Yeah, most of this stuff is being reviewed in mod inn. We have plans for the digital art board.

We have plans for all boards. Look around you - there's more boards that are just as, if not more, inactive as the Photography board. To be honest, I think more boards need to be reviewed - maybe not just the Photography board, but the others too. I'll see if I can come up with ideas.

That's just what I think anyway. You can't really compare the two. One's a board that's been there for a while and the other a new one which is naturally going to get attention, plus look who mods it. People will want to see what UC is doing in there. Lastly, writing is free so it will be quite a bit more active whereas photography can be very expensive, which turns some people with tight budgets *me* off. I'm sure Jonny and the rest of the staff will find a way to keep it going.
