I went to Panama for a couple weeks this past late February/early March. I don't use deviantART anymore, so these links are from Facebook, sorry! (Hm, I wonder if it's okay to hotlink....) Anyways, these are just a few of my favorite pictures out of the ones I took. A little boyTreeShoreThe second is my favorite for the color. I wish the first were more crisp. And the last one... the worst, but I wanted to throw in a third one.

Facebook does indeed allow hotlinking so no worries. The first one was ok, but I would have tried to focus more on his face. His expression is priceless. Something like "what the hell are you doing?" lol As for the second one I would try to mess around with different angles or the rule of thirds to make it more interesting. Just smacking the tree in the center of the photo is kind of boring. The last one is a little overexposed so I'd try to tone it down a bit in Photoshop if you have it. The location of the subject is right on a rule of thirds line which makes it a good image compositionally, but in the end I don't find the photo really attractive. Also please note when posting something about photography make sure you add the [Photo] prefix before it so we know your thread is about photography even with the word picture or photo, etc is in the title

A Little Boy Focus is a big issue here. The kid isn't properly in focus which causing an uncomfortable viewing experience. You also would have wanted a smaller aperture to create a smaller depth of field, thus letting the background blur better. Composition could also use work, but since the feet are around him it helps with the centering.
Tree A good shot, but entriely overdone angle. Be careful about the wide-angle lens distortion though, since it made the tree look like it's a bit bent. Might make for good stock though.
Shore It's way blown-out, lighting wise, but the best of the three shots. Next time, try not to cut her off at a funny spot, especially since she is a big part of the image. Being able to see her feet would have been helpful.
