Went to work as the sun set...got off when it rose

I just got home from a lock-in that went from 11:30pm to 7am!!! Not tired at all!!!

Anyone else do anything this crazy for work?

Not really. Last summer I was asked to go to a conference in Chicago for a weekend. That's about as close as I can get. I said no. Mainly because it was the weekend before my last day (had to go away to college) and I just wanted to be done with it. lol

Something quite similar, except it involved me being asked rather bluntly to leave the store. Haha, good times.

I've often gone into work high as a kite, that always makes the day go quicker, so much easier to talk to the annoying customers without blowing up at them.

Noooooope. The closest thing to crazy work shifts is working 4AM to 1PM to water some damn plants in the garden center. It sucks ass, but I haven't had to do it in a couple of weeks, so I'm thankful.

I've experienced two power outages at work that required us to kick out all the customers and we got to close down earlier...and "late" shifts i had would be starting at 7 pm and working till 2-3 in the morning for ad-set...which is changing the signs at work...or during black friday when i started at 4am lol.

Every Sunday I work from 5am until... 1-3pm. That's just too early for anyone. I've only closed a couple of times, but am usually home by one, so that's not so amazing. I think the worst "crazy" thing was a 16 hour shift. I actually think it was illegal for me, then. But hey, it brought in some money.

Ive worked a 14 hour shift and a 15 hour shift back to back doing like 40 hours in 3 days. Thats about it.

I used to have two jobs.
I'd go to work at six in the morning, get off at like four, go to my other job at five-thirty and work til ten....then wake up at six again.
So, that's about it for me =]
