Ok. So this is an issue I have had with Walmart for a long time. They won't allow uncensored CDs (ones with the Parental Advisory sticker on it) in their stores. So they force artists to edit their albums to be clean. Sure, the artists can say no and not sell their albums there but Walmart is the single largest physical media seller in the nation so they could potentially lose a lot of money by doing so. What I don't understand is this. Walmart sells guns. They sell adult magazines such as Maxim, Playboy (not all the time though. It seems to randomly appear at the Walmart by me), and FHM. They sell M rated games. They sell R and unrated DVDs and Blu Rays. Why are those things allowed but an artist must censor their work? (And for anyone who wants to know what brought this up, read this. Green Day is refusing to sell their latest album at Walmart)

...who really cares? I mean, sure they're losing money. But that's a good thing. I can't stand Wal-Mart. They're putting a lot of good stores that have been around for years out of business. And their products are complete shit. At least around here. I can't stand it. And I refuse to buy clothing from there, because I did that my sophomore year of high school, and every piece of clothing I had purchased, someone at my school had. It's pathetic.

More artists need to boycott Wal-Mart.
** On a seperate note, Green Day is a poser band to begin with so it's not a big loss in my opinion.
