Anybody here ever tried to write a script or even come up with a plot for a potential or less-likely, produced, film?

I'm working on one now, hit some writers block though.
Why do you ask? =P

I write scripts all the time for machinima stuff that I produce, but I've never really sat down to write something that I might try to pitch with a movie company. I do have a story that's been in the back of my head for a while that I have yet to put on paper.

Novels are my style. However, for fun I did write a play or two. Nothing I'd send in to the movie business, but I have written plays/scripts before.

I had to a write two last year for film class and I am writing one right now for the second level of that class this year. I prefer screenplays to novels because I like describing the camera's actions and how the scene will be set up.
If anybody needs a good free program to write screenplays with, use CELTX. It puts everything in the correct format.
