Where do you find your stock audio? Any place that you get artists that take requests?
I use Newgrounds right now but would like to find something better.

I honestly just use audio from my music collection which does include scores and such. Obviously it's not the best idea seeing as I don't hold a license to use it, but hey I'm not making money off of it.

For now I only use whatever I have on my computer, like above. Though I'll look around for some, since I'll be doing some video editing soon anyway. :]

If you are making personal movies or movies that won't get viewed by anyone but family and friends then I would defiinitely use your own music collection.
But if you seriously want to get into film making, using creative commons licensed music is the way to go. Otherwise you can get into pretty messy situations.

Bill Brown is a very good composer that has put his music online for download: billbrownmusic.com/index.htmI'm not sure if you can use it or not, but there are no blocks to download it and none of the videos I've made with it have been taken down.

If your films are any good there are millions of under-exposed composers out there that would love to provide you with the score. Use craigslist or better yet, myspace to find them. Like mentioned above, go ahead and use others music if it's going to be a family video.
