I was looking arond SSD until I thought to myself oh many members want to learn the way of the code, lol.
I was wondering if one of the staff coders could make a chatroom on SSD's website. The chatroom would be a coding classroom for us noobies. I myself am a noobie. I do know some coding though. I always wanted to help the noobies that ask for a code request but I wouldnt know where to start. For example, CrAzY_J posts away with all his codes. And I give him props for that.
So I just hope that the Staff of SSD would take that into consideration.

heheh, the thing is, alot of coders dont have the time to tutor that many people. so some of them write tutorials . I sometimes help beginners out with coding, it isn't really fun but I try my best to help them out. But this idea will never work, none of the coders will want to spend their time teaching noobs all day. So just read the tutorials

YOU KNOW WHAT THEN?!
I nominate CrAzY_J to be one of the mods. You could be the mod of classroom. See thats what it has to be.
If the coders dont have enough time to teach the noobies, then SSD should assign a mod to the classroom. And if there isnt enough mods, then get more! lol.
Trust me, its harder to learn by a tutorial, it would be easier to have someone there to ask and get it straight forward.

You need an avatar, I'll make you one.
Anyways, hopefully an admin will look at this thread. I just thought it would be good idea to get people started in coding. Either that, or post more tutorials on the website.

Online classrooms = bad idea. While in theory it may work, it is a ton of work for whoever is teaching them. Plus, people need to learn to be self-dependent. For example, you might one day learn everything the person teaching the class has to know. You have no other method to learn. You're stuck until that person learns more! So, I recommend reading lots of tutorials, going to websites like htmlite and w3schools. When you have specific questions ask them in support. Reading code was never a bad idea either. If there is anything you don't understand google it

hmmm... well I disturbed Squall and coolcoolcool at the SSD Chatroom at DA and they helped me with a code I was working on so it's like a coding classroom there too.
But a separate chatroom might be cool!!!!! Like a coding discussion or something.

Crazy, please try to avoid the term "n00b" on the forums. It's a nice idea but like said above quite demanding and really if you're looking for that kind of teaching then you'd best off at a college or university. However, SSD in itself can be like a little classroom, we have tutorials, links and a support board for questions
