Just a quickie I wrote. The power from this song would come from the music. The lyrics wouldn't all happen at the same time. They'd come in groups separated by gaps of music. I really wish I could write music to go along with my songs. Anyways, this song is just about how I have never felt like this world was meant for me. Frozen to the ground, I stand Looking around at all the land What has become of this gracious place It is now just desolate space
Forgotten what is used to be All I can remember is what I now see Let go of all your memories This is what the Earth shall be
Into the dark I always look The light I always forsook Let me go, forget all this stuff The world is not enough
Run around that little bend You'll never see the end The darkness, here it comes Marching to the beat of the drums
Let me go, this is my finale I have to do this, you will see My time has come It's my time to jump
Into the dark I always look The light I always forsook Let me go, forget all this stuff The world is not enough

Somehow, I can hear this in either heavy metal, or in grandeur orchestra style. I like this. I find that it portrays the darkness well enough, and there's this sense of desperation and lost hinted in it. Me likes. And don't get too sad, Josh. There IS always a place in this world for everyone, even if you don't see it.

If you want a feel for what I had in my mind for music, listen to Something I Can Never Have and The Day The World Went Away by Nine Inch Nails. Thanks for the comments though.

It'd be really hard to turn this into a song, as it is. But.. I kinda like it. What are you trying to say?

And I had it as a song in my head and was actually singing it. So it works.
