Anyone else think it's odd that it's ok for the pope to be a former Nazi youth, but meanwhile in Cleveland they removed an eight some year old man from his home for actions he had no choice in?
I'll explain. Demjanjuk who was born in Ukraine was a Soviet Soldier during the time of the Holocaust (This the government will not acknowledge) . He was taken prisoner by German troops in Poland, where he later was forced to work (like most of the other prisoners of war) as a guard at the sobibor death camp. During a US government investigation it was found that Demjanjuk was forced (something the US Federal Government Fails to Realize) to work the position of a loader (or line controller) at one of the gas chambers in the camp. He didn't choose to work this position, he didn't choose to kill people. Failure of Demjanjuk to cooperate with the Nazi soldiers would have meant death.
The US Federal Government wants to prosecute an 89 year old man who's forced to a wheel chair because of his fading health. The US Federal Government wants to put this man in a Jail Cell for the rest of his life over something they are lacking proper evidence for. They have no evidence of him working the gas chambers (if he ever did), they have no evidence that he was in fact an accessory to twenty nine thousand murders.
Unless they have real solid evidence, this is complete bullshit. They're doing it so they can say they did something towards justice of what happened.

I've pretty much stopped having faith in the concept of the world making any logical sense.
