So, I went out on a limb and purchased a Peleng 8mm Fisheye lens. I fear this may be my last photography related purchase for several months but I'm so excited about this lens. I've seen fisheye photos and have been awed by them everytime. My parents wouldn't buy me one due to a 600$ price tag so I tried to convince them into a 400$ Peleng. They then said "Why don't you get a flash or something? We don't think you need a speciality lens yet" So... I looked into Flashes for a few months, almost went with the new EX270 Canon Speedlite. When I thought about it, I can always find more light, I have three strobes and a built in flash. I can build a diffuser for my internal flash and it's not like I'm taking Portraits with vigor yet. I hope to be taking them more often by the end of the year. But in the meantime the Fisheye will help me add some "wow" & "breath" to my Landscapes My parents now refuse to buy me a Speedlite so I went with the Fisheye ;D I expect to have my new baby in my hands by middle of next week. But it could be here as early as this Saturday! Post here again when I get some photos Do any of you guys have Fisheye shots you want to share? Or tips?

Heritage Rose Gardens, Downtown San Jose (Guadalupe River) I've been here before for photos but never really explored like I did today. I had company with me and I got hungry so I didn't really take a lot of time poking around like I would have done on my own. I'm thinking of going back, alone, soon. I really should have kicked off my shoes but me being "protective" of my body I wasn't going to. My Vans are just as sexy ;D I hope to 'open' up before I go to Maine though! Peleng 8mm Fisheye If the camera hadn't moved this would have been perfect. Will retake on a night I'm not so sleepy on And I think next time I won't turn the interior light on (it was on for just a short, few seconds here) 8mm Peleng Fisheye

Holy crap! The one in the car is awesome. If you get it right that will be one hell of a picture.

I know, right! I might retake it Wednesday and drive in a straight line; I know the perfect street too! I just drove around the block so I was turning, allowing the camera to move =/

I'm not a big fan of fish eye, so I'm not going to drop many comments in here probably. But I left you one already on your DA on the car shot. That was good.
