First The reflection looks awesome, but the exposure seems a bit dark. It almost feels muddy because of it. I really love the lighting though, with the shadow play that's going on. Composition wise, having that storm drain dead center is a detriment to the photo. Try to put it off to one side so that it's in a crashpoint and thus a better point of interest.
Second I really like the exposure on this, and the fact that once again there is great shadow play. I feel that if the bridge either led to the left, or were on the left leading to the right that it would be far better, because it is a leading line and will draw the eye around the photo nicely. It's a great scene though.
Third I don't really get anything out of this photo. It feels a bit unbalanced, even exposure wise because the dark and light don't intermingle that much. Definitely not one of your better shots.
Fourth This is a really nice shot. The flower seems so soft as it should, and the lighting on it is wonderful. It's also great that it breaks up lines, and the stem and grass lead right up to it. Everything leads to it, and so the fact that it is centered is okay. I would like to see what it looks like with a closer crop, because I'm not sure if that would help the photo or not. Excellent capture on this one.
Fifth This is a really dynamic shot when it comes to the lighting. I am not fond of the sun in this shot however, because it is a nuclear explosion. It really takes away from it more than helps. If you had caught this shot without the sun, it would be perfect. The ground naturally leads away to a specific spot, and since that area is in the upper-right, it makes for great composition. Very well done.
Sixth Those are some awesome lines. Some very awesome lines. The lighting is done well too, but overall it's not that dynamic nor compelling of a photo. You did far better on some of the others in this set. Still, I compliment you on seeing that there were good lines and light for this image.

Thank you saknika, I think we've already established we have different tastes! For the first one I love it all being centred, the image would be boring without it. Second, wouldn't that make the photo feel too cluttered? The photo is too cluttered as it is I think, oh and I can hardly move a bridge!! Third, I like the textures. There's not much better exposure you can get out of this, it's just the nature of the tones. Fourth, a tighter crop doesn't work, I tried and it makes it feel cramp and awkward. So I gave it space to breath Fifth, I think I've kept the sun in good control, you may not notice but it's actually behind a tree. I couldn't of had it any other way to get this shot. Sixth, this was taken on a single aperture, single speed shutter camera. The viewfinder is grotty and very hard to use! I just knew that 6x9 negs would show off the tree. The neg is even bigger than the small version viewed on that page! THank you for your comments, very much appreciated
