www.darkgamer.com/Basically, I'm not looking for critique on the website as a whole seeing as it is just coming out from under the grave and has no coding/design whatsoever. I wouldn't mind input on ideas for the site. Right now we plan on having community stuff including: popular forum quotes, weekly poll, community comic, etc.
I'd basically like ratings on the DG logo design I made, as well as the banner I made. Both are temporary - but these are the styles I am going for when I start design on the main site.I would like input on the redesign. ;D Thanks guys. SSD has never failed me. I learned all of my coding skills here, it's always great to get your input

well seeing as though its not done, what you have so far looks pretty mint, as far as the main page and the banner looks very nice. Id say just keep up the good work and I look forward to the finished product man. It looks very clean, which is def the way to go in my opinion

It's looking good. I think the Login/Register options are little out of place at the bottom of the page. Move that to the top somewhere.

Thanks for the input! And I'm referring to the main site - the forums won't be skinned until I complete the main site.
Btw, I'm coding in tables at the moment, so please don't judge on that. I would like to convert to divs in the future.
I've updated a lot in the past month. Please give more input :]

It's looking good. I'm not liking those mult-coloured tabs you've created. Maybe it could just change colours with mouse-over.
What's going to be put in that blank black area on top of the tabs? I could be used for advertisement space or a spot to put the latest news/updates. I'd go with the news/updates option. Except, I'm not liking how the tabs abruptly cut off the red border-like thing; it almost takes away that smooth look to everything. I think you should round the bottom right corner of the DG logo (the red part that's right beside the first tab from the left). Although, this part is totally up to you.
Now this blank black area at the top isn't really a rectangle, so I suggest that when you post up an update, you should fill the odd space at the bottom right with some links/shortcuts/your username. And when an update is too long for that area, just leave "read more . . ." link linked to the thread of the announcement.
