Really really well done. He appears to be sharp against the blurred background, as it should be. However, I hate the crop on this. Considering his movement, and how tiny he is in the frame compared to the space, I really feel that this would have done much better in a horizontal space. 2 Stunning. It's absolutely stunning. I love everything about this, thought I do think I'd like a tighter crop where that one dark tree on the left didn't exist and we got in a bit closer to that wonderful texture. 3 The focus is superb. Not too sure about the harsh lighting, nor the crop. Too much dead space with that water. You didn't need as much of it as is shown. 4 It's a well composed landscape, but it doesn't really interest me. Might make for a nice stock image though. 5 Beautiful shot, good edit. I really like the leading lines and colour contrast in this. 6 The original is way too flat and dull, but you did well in Photoshop. However, for a full critique on the photoshoped image, you're going to want to head over to the critique board, since we're just straight photography here with minor edits only. :3 And in my book at least, that is definitely leaning way more into photo manipulation. 7 Not too fond of this. The focus is good, but the exposure seems way off and too contrasty. The background is hard to see because it's so dar, and the bird is so white it feels blown out for the most part. 8 It'd be perfect if there wasn't that striped thing along the right side. 9 Interesting angle and good focus and lighting, but it just doesn't intrigue me all that much.

Thanks for the critique as well, more than I've gotten in other places. I like your crop suggestion for the infrared, I'll take care of it promptly.

1. I love the action you captured in this pic. I wish I could have taken such a cool pan shot for my class a week ago We were working on motion. 2. Holy crap...Is that snow or what? It just looks so unreal! 3. I personally like the empty space in this. The bird is in a rule of thirds area which makes it really interesting. The shadows and colors make this photo. 4. COLOR! I love the vividness of this so much. How do you get your camera to take such vivid images or is it post photoshop that makes it amazing? 5. I'm going to comment on both of the next ones seeing as they're pretty much the same lol The lines are awesome in these. They bring you around the photo. The colors are a little dingy though. 6. Both of them again I actually really like the 2nd version alot. Both of them are pretty cool though. 7. I agree with Saknika about the fact that the bird is like BAM! Right there. I would have liked it better to be a little softer if you know what I mean. 8. Stripes FTL. Other than those stripes it's awesome sauce. I love those hats btw. 9. Ummm...you have my car in your picture sir...I'm kind of bias when it comes to Challengers because I love them so much, but I love this one

#2: That would be InfraRed, the fourth wavelength of light. We, as humans, can't see it.
#4: I tweak the camera calibration in Lightroom and then brush over with colour in spots that need it, here it was the ground; I couldn't get it as green as I'd have liked.
#8: I don't know if I can crop out the stripes without cropping some of the subject. I'll see what I can do.
#9: Haha. It's not the best shot in the world, I'll admit. I would've liked for those people to move, but I think it adds to the photo. Glad you love it!
