Just curious. What was the longest amount of time (broken or uninterrupted) you spent working on a piece of art, digital or not?
I was spending a few weeks working on this desktop wallpaper for someone a couple of years ago. I was still just learning the ropes of Photoshop design, and after a long time, I actually just stopped doing it for the person. So yeah, I was a jerk...
How about you guys? Some designs on places like this are so amazing. It makes me wonder how long it takes to do some of the really "good stuff" once you've got the program down.

longest i've ever spent on a single piece of artwork was 3 hours. it was a digi painting of a wolf. I was practicing using my wacom tablet.

I spent about six or seven hours non-stop on one image, swapping between PhotoShop and Illustrator (link upon request). But now that I've learned what things do, and I think ahead of what I wish to do and possible derivations, I can achieve something like that in an hour or less.
