Mk, well I revamped some stuff, fixed a few bugs, changed the look a bit, and of course updated content and got back into updating my posts Ok, so here you go, let me know what you think and how I can improve on the design that I have right now... I might be redesigning the whole thing anyways, but I'd like to nail this one down first. Tell me how it can be better. simanov.net/Thank you in advance!

It's a really clean design though Simanov Studio and it's logo look like they're burned into the banner a little too much. I love the way you've set up the header and footer though, with the recent posts links on the bottom. They're accessible but out of the way. So it doesn't really crowd your navigation bar. Your logo reminds me a lot of LG's logo =] Looks good ~

Yea the center logo in the banner was supposed to be less viewable, but yea, it just looks ambiguous at best at this point . Thank you for the comment! Yea, clean was my objective, but with a bit of human feel inside the actual site. LG eh? Yea, you're right... just looked it up, haha. Oh well, it supposed to resemble a face, thus more memorable

First let me say you did a very very nice job on this layout, want to do mine? I know it's bad coming from a designer, but I have no time lol... Anywho:
I like this clean sleek layout. It's very professional. The colors are clean, and vibrant at the same time, and the design in a whole, flows smoothly... I like how the menu is in with the content and not at the top like most portfolio sites, that is original and I love originality. I think everything content wise is in it's place, and it is very easy to navigate. Not much else to add, you did a great job.

Thank you! I really appreciate the kind words and the positive feedback. I'm getting ready to start my second difficult task... designing a one page portfolio for Pat Khils (my alter ego). In this case, I'm using this challenge as practice and trying to plunge myself into a whole new style, so difficult indeed . This leaves me at peace with the blog/portfolio layout so I can do this. P.S. Yea, I've ben in the same situation when I was way too busy and had a difficult time allocating my work load when it came to designing my identity... so no, your comment is a compliment in this sense haha. And hey, if you're serious, I might give it a go if you want.
