Has anyone ever worked or fooled around in XNA 3.0? or 2.0?
I think it uses C++. I could be wrong.
Nice program though for organizing and creating games for Windows, X360, or Zune.

You're talking about Microsoft XNA Game Studio Express? That's the one that was available for free on the MS website last time I checked, it's the student version of course. Express and all that. I was quite impressed when I heard about XNA, you can re-use a lot of code in it, they've got a highly extensive set of classes bundled into it. And I'm pretty sure that it uses C# Noxes. Hang on, let me check.
Interesting. The framework they're talking about is the XNA framework. C# would be a bright way to go then.

Either way Avtar, XNA is perfect for game coders who want to see their games on X360. Did you ever try it out?
It's a 100% free program to what I know. They have XNA Game Studio 3.0 up now.
Sounds good.

Never been into game development, but yeah, been told that this is the thing to use. You should probably give it a shot, game development your thing?

It does indeed use C#. I still haven't got around to getting it and Visual Studio 2008, but I will. I don't know C# yet though so I wouldn't be able to use XNA yet.

Visual Studio is extreme bloatware. I don't see why it occupies such a lot of space on my system, and it insists on installing itself in the Windows partition. I should have probably made my partition much larger.
Probably will in some time.
Going to be trying out Ubuntu and Windows 7 in the next few days.
