I've used 3 registrars over the years, the most recent being GoDaddy and I prefer GoDaddy over any of the others. In fact, for quite awhile there one of the registrars, that I have a domain through, wouldn't let me update my information. I even sent them a support message and heard nothing back from them. Some time back though, they updated their site and now it's so much easier to maintain the domain and update information. However, I plan to transfer the domain to GoDaddy when it's close to expiring.
I use Surpass Hosting as well.

For hosting I use HostGator. Incredible reliability, speed, and support. The support is pretty much my big thing with them, it's amazing. For the registrar I use GoDaddy, never had any problems with them really.

bluehost.com for both! I'm not joking when I say that their service has been the best I have ever had. Unlimited space, unlimited bandwidth, unlimited addon domains, unlimited email, unlimited databases....pretty much unlimited everything. One time I was getting some support and as the guy was on the phone looking at my site he noticed it was about Halo so we talked about Halo and gaming while he worked. It was awesome.

DreamHost. The amount of space and bandwidth they provide is epic, to say the very least. They've got everything you'd really need as well, and have been quite reliable, hardly any downtime. In fact, I don't remember any at all.

1and1hosting is what I found and use for both. I've had no issues with them, and the packages are priced wonderfully.

i started out with digital vision hosting and i do not recommend them at all, had alot of server problems and also the support was non-existence. poor customer support, they registered my domain when i started a hosting package with them, the next year came along, they let it expire, i emailed them many of times and had no reply, i finally got a reply saying they will sort it. they didnt and ive not herd from them since.
i then used elixant, they was a very good host, no problems with them. there customer service was great. support was good but i never really used that since there was no problems. they then shut down and are no longer in business.
im now with hostgator. i wave had no problems with them either. pretty good host in all aspects.
