what the buck guys ! - I quite love this long over due edition and it had some fun filled articles. Though perhaps for next months I can submit the how-to-vegan_ize your thanksgiving dinner ... sounds like a plan to me.
great youtube article and great pick for lit of the month
edited: our dear friend chris crocker is being sued for one million dollars, supposedly according to a jeweler he invited chris out to this party where the 'photogs' where going to be and he lent him all this nice jewelry to wear well Christopher never showed up ... though a few of you'd find that interesting

Hooray! Finally and at last. My favorite issue, October. Creature Feature is so much fun, by the way. You should all check out that link.

I liked all the articles except the reviews. Sorry, but I just don't find them interesting. The youtube article was just skimmed over as well; there wasn't much interest there either. I am not saying you shouldn't do any reviews, but maybe do different topics than the same ones you have been doing. I would be interested in reading some reviews on new hardware (like new mice for example, I could write an article on this.) but, I already know what I think of new games, since they are the most well-known games and books. If you did a review for a game I didn't hear of for months... The Halloween article and the Zombie one was the best, however, I think you guys could write articles that are a lot more interesting.

The game reviews you are referring to a) one wasn't written for this magazine anyway b) I've never done a game review in my life So if you read past reviews, they're more likely to reflect more appropriately on the Herald as a whole (sorry, just wanted to state that my rubbish writing isn't a true reflection )

People like different things; that's why we have a variety. I personally like reading reviews on games that have just come out, etc- b/c it gives me an idea on what to buy... or whether it's worth spending the money.

I don't read the reviews at all. You made it sound like you had read them and found the writing to be uninteresting. No, sorry; I just don't like the reviews, as I have already read them elsewhere by the time the Herald comes out. It isn't the reviews, its writing reviews that have already been written a thousand times.

Thanks for the Resource of the Month thing(even though I think I submitted it in August xD). it's not dependant on when you submit them You made it sound like you had read them and found the writing to be uninteresting. No, sorry; I just don't like the reviews, as I have already read them elsewhere by the time the Herald comes out. It isn't the reviews, its writing reviews that have already been written a thousand times. But if they haven't been written before, where do you get the information? I do agree with you, but you have to admit it's difficult to find a new subject to talk about. All that you have it writing style or a new angle really.

How did I win AoTM when I haven't posted here in like three months? Because when I was glancing around the forum, I saw it and liked it. I must say though, you're probably the only person who would complain at winning something. <3

If you know me, I'll complain about anything and everything. And I've already won both awards so it's not like it was anything all that big.
