I had this idea a little while back and just remember it and decided to re-type it. I'm just wondering if anyone would be interested in doing this type of thing in the Chillout?
Thanks
The premise is simple... there are two groups of people. The Townsfolk and the Werewolves. The Townsfolk are lead by nobody in particular, it is more of a collective mass, while the Werewolves are led by the Head-Werewolf.
The object for the Townsfolk is to eliminate the Head-Werewolf and the object for the Werewolves is to eliminate enough Townsfolk to win. But, the Townsfolk don't know who the Head-Werewolf is, he looks just like any other citizen during the day.
But how do simple Village-folk kill a Head-Werewolf? Holy water of course! But, sadly there is only enough Holy Water delivered to Solid Snake Ville to try it upon one person per day (or turn). The Townsfolk must decide each turn who they are going to try the Holy Water on, in hopes of finding the Head-Werewolf.
But, if there is only one Werewolf (The Head-Werewolf), how is he going to stand a chance? Well, the Head-Werewolf has the ability to infect one Townsperson per turn without the other Townsfolk knowing. These are the minions of the Head-Werewolf. They roam amongst the real Townsfolk trying to lead them off the track and present false information during the discussion part of the game.
So, overall a game will go like this:
1. People sign up in the "Sign-up Thread" and when there are enough people, a Head-Werewolf is chosen at random and privately notified by the Moderator (myself in this case). Also, a Speaker of the People is selected and this person is publicly known.
2. The Townsfolk discuss in the Great Werewolf Hunt thread who they want to try the Holy Water on and the Speaker of the People send the Moderator a message with their choice. If they are right, they win, if they are wrong, the Head-Werewolf is given a turn to infect someone of their choice.
3. The Townsfolk discuss another candidate based on any information or clues they receive from either the Moderator or that they gained themselves (you can use whatever methods you wish to try and figure out who the Head-Werewolf is) while the minions of the Head-Werewolf work to throw off their efforts.
4. This goes on and on until their are either too few un-infected Townsfolk or the Head-Werewolf is found.
