Name? Johanna
Age? 25
Location? Sweden
Website/Gallery? littlemewhatever.deviantart.com/
What you enjoy doing for fun?
Photography, being with my dogs, being with friends, music
Your favourite website to visit (you don't have to own it)?
I usually go to stickam.com, deviantart.com, myspace.com
What is your favourite piece from your gallery and why?
Very hard question but probably "Yesterdays Feelings" can't really say why, it just is lol
How did you start out in photography? Did you have any professional training or lessons?
Nope, didn't have any training or lessons, my father used to be a photographer and I guess that's what got me into it.
The main content of your gallery is obviously self-portraiture and the images are extremely varied in theme. Where do you draw your inspiration from?
A lot of different things, Friends, music...
How much, if any, post work do you do to your photographs and is this digital or traditional dark room editing?
It depends on the photo... I do do digital work, post work, traditional dark room editing... all depends on what photo.
A more difficult topic. Do you get any negative feedback from the community with regards to some people believing that photography is not an art? By this I mean the belief that all there is to photography is "point and click".
Oh yes, I've gotten that, and Its sad that people think that.
Your older images were taken with a film camera. Do you prefer this to digital? What do you think are the advantages of both, if any?
Well... the advantages of digital is obviously that you can see it right after you've taken the shot, with a film camera you can't, although, there's something special about taking photos with a film camera.
Finally, do you have any words of wisdom and advice for those wishing to get into photography and portraiture in particular?
Just try any idea that pops into your head, even if they don't turn out the way you thought it would, you learn from it.
Edited for spelling.
