Every great visual artist has some sort of inspiration. So , where do you think are greatest artists get their inspirations for doing an artistic piece?

Inspiration comes from what you conjure inside your head, as in dream, imagine, etc; Artists put these ideas together to make a "piece." That's what art is made. As for inspiration, it comes from life, and the environment around you. People interpret the world around them in different ways, the art is what we call when people express their interpretations or feelings about something.

Any art I do inspires itself... I start off with a random brush stroke, which produces a second one, and on it goes.

I tend to do the same as Virtuoso. I'll mess with something to start off, and snowball from there.

Everything around me. Everything.
I observe everything with a designers eye.

You try to look at the normal , and make inspiration out of it or look at the new? I like it!

I take inspiration from everywhere, even now I'm taking a colour scheme and design idea from the stripes on those fishes in your sig!

A lot of it comes to me randomly while taking a shower, such as song titles. The shower is a great place to think, nothing to distract you (unless you are distracted by soap and water)
