We could start a board were users could come and request a sig. Then a a pro could make him or her one.
for example...
Hi? Can someone make me a sig?
Size-whatever size the user wants Colors-whatever colors he wants Pics-Tells you what pics he or she wants or posts them for you Font-what the font should say

We use to have requests but they were taken down. It was just too much work. All it did was cause problems between members and staff when their request didn't get done. They won't be coming back

A lot of forums have a thread which lists all the members willing to make signature pictures (or avatars) for other members and members requiring them can get in contact with them directly for the creators of the image to do at their leasure (if at all).
Not much point having a board for it when a PM could do.

Not much point having a board for it when a PM could do. I think that might be a good idea. But bringing back the board I feel would just cause problems.

Yeah a thread with willing members could work. I, myself, wouldn't mind doing signature requests, actually. I'd help out with it. *backs up that idea*

Mmm.. coming from an ex mod of the request board, if you ask Insane and me, it really wasnt much work at all, we had the pick of what requests we wanted to do.. so it wasnt like forced work. And If him and I went in there for maybe 30 minutes out of our day at the same time we could clean up about 3 pages. It really wasnt much work until I left for vacation or something and it all fell apart because Insane was the only one doing requests. I understand it will never be back, but there really was no problems between members and staff (of that board, not speaking for the rest of staff).. I even got Ash and Alan to fill a few requests .. It isnt a bad board at all.. a lot of the things people say about it definatly are not true.

It isnt a bad board at all.. a lot of the things people say about it definatly are not true. Funny, as I vividly remember UC having to spend entire days in there, working those requests, and just being bogged down entirely by them. Though, maybe that's because you and Insane only did a half hour's worth of work, and even then, only of the images you felt like? Yeah, that might explain it. UC had to pickup where you guys slacked off. It's not coming back, and the reason doesn't lie in the stress it puts on moderators. As you mentioned, Christy, it really isn't too much stress on you guys. But, it is on the poor soul that needs to pickup where the moderators don't. UC, for example. I know that board stressed her, I remember talking to her on MSN while she'd be filling those requests. It's not fair, it won't happen. Drop the issue.
