Depressing though the music taste of a lot of people here is, I still think we need one. It'll be good to discuss stuff, and maybe get some good content in Chillout.
I'm presenting this as a petition because if I ask Oliver myself he'll just tell me to piss off, so back me up here guys.

Rather than just music, why not media in general?
I don't really care either way. Media is media. Music is music.
I listen to what I listen to, and usually pay no attention to what genre it falls under. So, yeah, like I said, I don't really care. Wouldn't bother me, wouldn't appeal to me, wouldn't care for it, but wouldn't mind it for the others.

Lots of flaming, I sense if created this board is. a cookie i give you, a present from yoda it is.  i dont think a music board would hold up too long. i think it should be media like whit said. but adding another sub board would also take away from the already topic deprived chillout board. so i dont know about it. |

It's come up before, there are lots of popular topics in chillout that we could make sub boards on, but we don't because there'd be very little left. Generally all I've seen in music topics is "they rock" "they suck".
Suggestions go in the suggestion board Jack.

I think that not only is a media wanted, it is desperately needed to tidy up Chillout. It would be greate to talk about films, television programmes, and music with other memebrs in their own allocated place.
And, after all, Gaming got its own board? Why shouldn't television, films and music - combined they're much more popular than Gaming (or Debates).
And, of course, a board on Media would encourage more posting, which, after all, is what you want, isn't it?

Not true, you forget the people who whine, I think news wouldn't exactly count, but I'm not sure. I think it should really be an entertainment board. Anywho, there are still tons of other topics that get posted in chill out. |
