Dude. Take a chill pill please? Before you say anything, I'd like to direct you to the ethics with which I asked you.
This indicates that I'm asking you to do something.
This suggests that I was asking nicely.
We know we have drama. We don't need anyone to add to it, so stop being such a smart alack about it. Please. I'm not trying to make you mad, I'm not trying to piss anyone off, but you aren't helping the case in any way.

It was a tongue in cheek comment about how boring members overreacting is getting. Although when i say tongue in cheek i really mean you should just start deleting accounts lol. EDIT: Why are so many people immune to irony?

*sigh* It's sad how SSD has turned into a version of high school. Someone causes drama, and the members dwell on it. It's boring, sure. But it happens. We can't prevent how our members act, just do something about it once they have. And if you've noticed, that's what we've been doing.
Now, unless you have an effective way to help, this thread is pretty pointless. Just pointing out the obvious.

Not so much late. I was just laughing at it before, now its just totally grim.
Im not trying to create unnecessary rifts, but this is probably something everyone here should realise.
Members should honestly just get a grip of themselves and realise that theres probably a LOT of better things to do with their time than sit complaining about and spamming on an internet forum. And if theres not, then they should maybe just take action and get out that noose. Stop taking yourself so seriously and get a life.
And on the other side of things, its not really their fault, but the staff should probably just not rise to any of it (like they have been) and get out the warning levels and mighty ban-stick.
Constructive enough?

Well I wish people would just change their tampons and get off this twelve month long period they have been on.
Seriously, you want to know how bad it is? I have period blood on my couch, come on! Just change that thing and take some Midol. It will be ok.

Annnnd the scores are in: 6.0, 5.4, 7.9 (but that's only France's opinion), and 5.5.
Sean was at least more constructive. I'm all abroad for the humor, but at this point I think it's something everyone just needs to agree to see through.
either we drop the drama - on both "sides" - or we just keep filling the forum will even more useless crap than usual. Leaning towards the first, and with how easy it is to just take a breath of fresh air and remember there are people outside of the interwebs, I'm really thinking this is possible.

Any one who posts a picture only response should be banned immediately.

How is posting an just an image that is obviously done to be funny (but never is) constructive to a thread? Wait, let me answer this one: It isn't. It's just a waste of bandwidth.
And the first part of your reply (as with most others), real mature. I'm glad to see what your country offers as far as students and workers go. I'll just tell you now, it's not much.

... so rational maturity doesn't work; let's try warnings.
As of right now, picture-only posts, when relevant to the message, are fine. The key is moderation, and it'll be deemed in a case-by-case basis.
If members feel strongly about this - and are able to state their strong opinions maturely- create a new thread. But I stress the word mature.
---
And to expand on the mention of warnings, I'll just go ahead and make this statement public.
It's pretty obvious that I've always been more tolerant than any of the previous administrators. I trust that a community which has aged past 13 can handle a little more slack on the rules- and that flamings could be kept to a minimum just by simple courtesy.
Unfortunately, I was wrong, and I take full blame for that. Sorry I let you all pretty much flame each other and hoped that the verbal warnings to move on would work.
They obviously aren't, so at the suggestions of many members and many staff, it's just going to have to be harsher. I have already begun doling out warnings to those who continue to flame each other needlessly. The trend will obviously have to be continued.
Think about what you post. If you are coming in to only say something negative, then just hit backspace and don't send. You will be warned. There is no reason this post should have ever gone from deciding that all of us should grow up... to flaming a member for his response.
