Want to update your Experienced Buddy profile? Alright, the Buddy Board could do with some touching up. 'Tis getting a tad bit boring in there, and the profiles are beginning to obtain cobwebs and dust. So, we'd like all you who have an Experienced Buddy profile in the Buddy Board to update your profiles. We would like for you to create/re-do your profiles in a new format, which can be found near the bottom of the second page in the current Experienced Buddy Directory [ click here], or in the Expanding the Directory thread [ click here]. We want to do this to make your profiles a bit more "personal", and not so orderly, as they currently are in the directory. Here's what we are looking for: • How long you've been a member here • Info about yourself (try and make it sound interesting) - Hobbies
- Fav. Music
- Name & Age
- Have fun with it.
• Signature for buddy (optional) No lists, we want to keep this personal and not so business-like.

Mine's still kind of recent, do you still want me to update it? Noo, not unless you want to. To those who have already posted in the "Expanding the Directory" thread, this really doesn't apply to you unless you want to change something.

I've been here for coming on three years. I enjoy being referred to as a goth, I'm a walking dictionary and grammar machine, I like meeting new people, and I reckon all the world's problems could be solved through Photoshop. I'm a bit forgetful and lazy, but when I'm passionate about something there's no stopping me from doing it. I enjoy helping other people with their artwork, but if you don't take constructive criticism well, don't ask for my advice, as many here can attest to. . My hobbies include cycling, climbing, making arty things, watching movies (Hackers, LOTR, The Matrix, Animatrix, Cowboy Bebop, Shaun of the Dead...) and TV series (24, The Tribe, Black Books, Green Wing), and llistening to music (drum & bass, metal, industrial, ambient, psy trance), reading books, reading comics & webcomics, writing short stories. My name's Grace, and I'm 17. I'm doing a full-time portfolio preparation course in college and I'm hoping to go on to do a degree in something in the art field. Sig:

'bout time... I've been at SSD, for some months, and have climbed a few ladders . I'm a photoshop fanatic, and a painting freak, I've the 'uber' skills. My name, Is Ethan James, I'm mostly referred to as 'Ethy, flower-boy or EJ', I'm a nice guy in every respect, and enjoy the presence of people I respect and like -- I'm very open-minded and love to debate anything, I mean anything, down to iPod earbuds. My hobbies, other than Photoshop and Music, include high-jumping, paintballing, PC-games, Playstation games etc, etc, etc. In general, I'm THE cool guy. Wow, surprising I didn't get to this.
My name is Nxsis, though I am more commonly known as Virtuoso. I have been at SSD for a little under a year. I do a wide variety of things: Designing, Art, Programming, Writing. I do a lot of Art, but don't have a specific skill. If you get to know me well, you'll know that I work very hard to try and find it. I feel I'm coming close though. I enjoy debating, though not with narrow-minded people. I own my own forum(which is exploding with activity) and am involved in numerous projects. I am a very different person from the typical teen. I am a self-proclaimed nerd, yet I am popular at school. I don'tcare what people think of me, which is why so many people tend to care what I think of them. I am always on the computer, yet I'm skilled in many sports and get 90's in school. I've been so many places around the world just over the 13 years of my life, others haven't even dreamt of being too. I'm familar with numerous different cultures. I have many different morals I go by. "Be a leader, not a follower" "Do unto others, what others do unto you." I try to be nice to people. I have a strict nature of "No Bullshit when it comes to friends." When people piss my friends off, I don't take it too well. Signature Tag: [ Coming Soon ]

Hello, I'm Michael. I came onto the SSD scene in late '03 even if my profile doesn't represent that. I'm also known as jongos. Generally people who knew me before then call I put my real name up call me jongos. I am a designer and I have been designing for about a year now. However, I have only been using photoshop for around 8 months. I'm a failed coder as well. My main two hobbies outside of designing are soccer and tennis.
I like music very much as well. I mainly listen to, Blink-182, Green Day, The Killers, Panic! At The Disco, Plus 44, Angels and Airwaves, Eminem, Dragonforce, Led Zeppelin, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Less Than Jake, Fort Minor, Sum 41, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, All American Rejects, and similar. I am a pretty laid back person in most regards. I like to joke around as well.
Well, have fun in the forums.

Mitch, please modify my post and use the text in the textbox, I used some UBBC.
I have been a member at SSD for about two years. I have many variations of my names: hpmad, HPmad, hp.mad, hp.mad_, hp_mad, hp, HP, Dave, David, pickle. You might be wondering about that last one as well. I have a very cool obsession with pickles. They are random and awesome. I joke around about them a lot. I have been designing for a little less than two years and have been coding for about a year. I like playing soccer, reading, and pretty much hanging out with my friends.
I currently live in Bloomington, Indiana (USA), although I was born in Thailand. I consider myself a noob and sometimes I sound like a noob, sometimes I don't, that means that I can basically get along with almost everyone as long as they don't piss me off =P. I like music a lot, mostly in the alternative and punk rock style. I don't really like rap, but I can stand some of it. Some of my favorite bands are: Green Day, Sum 41, Angels & Airwaves, New Found Glory, Bilnk-182, Plain White T's, The Early November, and Taking Back Sunday. I absolutely despise any music with screaming and grunting in it, such as death metal. I'm fine with just a very, very, very little bit of screaming though, as long as the singer actually sings.
If you become my minion buddy, I will make a cool-looking sig for you.
Note: If you request me to be your buddy, please pm me to let me know. I rarely ever check this board.

My name is Nicholas Noel. I'm 15 (almost 16) and I live in central North Dakota. I've been a member at Solidsnake Designs for over two years, and I've been a moderator here twice. I enjoy spending time hanging out with friends, acting in plays, and playing my sax or clarinet. I design using Paintshop Pro, and I can code using HTML, CSS, and some Javascript. I listen to a lot of older music, one-hit-wonders, The Postal Service, Rilo Kiley, Death Cab for Cutie, and quite a few others. I like use of proper English, and I hate being bothered when I'm in a bad mood. I like to talk as long as it's an intelligent conversation. I plan on going into Medical Technologies in college, and work hard in school. Who wants me?

Heres my buddy profile once I get to the 200 post mark
User Status I have been a member of SSD for upwards to about three years but only truly active for a few months. I had an account here but forgot the username/password so i created this one. In depth about me My real name is Josh (Born 02/02/88) but I go by quite a few names: - Cypher98P284/Cypher
- Gigliwananacom/Gigli (Gig-lee-wah-nana-com)
- Dishwasher Safe/Dishy
Music My favorite music (at the time of this writing) is Trance/Techno. You can actually hear what I like on a free internet radio station called Digitally Imported FM. Just click on any of the following genres in the website to hear my favorites. - Trance
- Vocal Trance
- Hardcore
- Gabber
Graphic Design I created my own company, C9 Designs, at the age of 15. It started out being work that was to be temporary and wouldn't be the final outcome of the client(s) needs, like a basic website to get them started. Now I do little design jobs here and there not really pursuing it full force. My favorite art style is a type called vector art. Though I'm some what new to the genre I feel its one of my strong suites. I plan to get better in vectoring objects and create some nice abstract pieces. Mitch I've been an active member here at SSD since early February of 2005. That's when I actually began getting involved in the community, rating images, participating in SOTW competitions, and posting often in Chillout and the Photography board. In April 2005, Oliver started me off as a mod for the Show Off board (now known as "Critique"). I remained in that position for quite a while. I resigned from Show Off mod in midlate 2005 and went on run this board, replaced in Dec. 2006 by by newly appointed Global Moderator Jonny. I'm 16 years old, birthday being in May, and a Junior in High School in the good ole state of Indiana in America. Only AP class I'm currently taking is Literature, which is difficult considering the fact that I'm not one who favors scheduled reading and assigned writing. Aside from that, I take some basic classes: Physics, Precalculus, Spanish, History, and a 2-hour Web Design class. Aside from school, I like to spend a lot of time on the computer and with my friends on the weekends. I do a lot of browsing around the internet for entertainment and am an avid designer, photographer, and writer. I've been designing with Photoshop for around 3 years, and also have some knowledge in Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks, Terragen, and some HTML/XHTML. Music is my anti-drug. My library consists of a lot of music in the genre of Metal and Hardcore. My favorite sub-genres of those two are Post Hardcore, Grindcore, Screamo, and Experimental. All-time favorite bands are Drop Dead, Gorgeous; Alesana; Nodes of Ranvier; Blessthefall; System of a Down; Avenged Sevenfold (preferably their older stuff); and even Linkin Park. I stick mainly to Screamo and Grindcore these days, though. I'm pretty picky about my music. Profile: Click HereIf you become my buddy, I'll design you a new buddy banner for your cute little signature...but only because I despise the buddy sigs I originally made...

Anselm
About Me: I have been here since mid 2005, although I haven't been active throughout all that time. I have varied interests, but the main are that I enjoy graphics design and, even more now, web design. I think my web interface design is improving all of the time, as is my graphics design, although I'm getting a bit rusty now. Photography is starting to come into the fold now too; I think my new camera is helpful. I'm a 14 year old Welshman, and yes, I'm proud of it. I am also a Christian, and I do a lot of work at my local church, especially when it comes to sports, but there's too much to go on and that's another story.
Off the computer, I often play football and basketball, sometimes rugby too. I'm also interested in new, less well-known sports: I'm someone to try things out. If I'm not playing sport, I often listen to a bit of music. Music can never be bad. Whether it's the radio or CD, I often have it on.
Then we have another story. Myself, I like various types of music. Dance, Hip Hop and R&B are the main ones, but there are others that I won't mind. Make sure you put the old classical, folk, opera, country and whatever else out of it. As for my favourite artists, I have to say, I don't really have favourites. I seem to be someone who likes particular songs rather than artists, but that's just me.
Then we have school. Although I don't like talking about it, it does take up a lot of time. I'm in the first year of GCSEs at the moment, and I'm probably heading for a career somewhere in town planning, transport planning or that field.
