I'm finishing off a sig and adding text but I can't get it to blend in very well, any tips on getting text to blend better?
btw I'm using photoshop CS2.

People need to realize that there is a Photoshop board for these types of threads...
It's hard to tell you how to blend text when we have no idea what you are making. There are so many different ways to do it that we can't just flat out tell you how. We need to be able to see what the image looks like that we are blending the text in.

Really? Nevermind then I thought there was just a general thing you could do to text to make it blend well.

Blending anything at all depends on what type of image you have, especially with colors and busy-ness

stick with simple fonts add a small drop shadow and lower the main opacity of the text slightly this works for some sigs

You can blend a multitude of ways. You can lower opacity settings, use filtered blurs, blending options within the layer itself, adjustments to the color of said layer and even your blur, smudge, etc. tools.
