Though it isn't imperative, I've seen it work at many a design site, and it has been a hit throughout them (mainly because it has been my idea; I've been going around forum to forum suggestion it, and mainly because I stayed with it, molded it, and shaped the whole concept to what it is today). There are many members of this forum that are literary inclined, and don't have any place to show off their work. It's a graphics forum, yes, and most people don't expect to see literature of any kind, but graphics only, but there are a lot of members that would enjoy reading the literary masterpieces that are posted off and on throughout the years to come.

So, my suggestion, some type of literature board. Like I mentioned above, there's a lot of people who love reading this type of stuff, as well as people (myself included) that love writing it. It'd be a real treat to SSD, proving once more that there are people with more powers that take things into consideration from the little people.

But, if you choose not to, I can see behind your reasoning, as I've had countless forums come outright (and, while they try to sound nice, they're really screaming bloody murder) that literature is not something they want seen on their forum. So, just let me know thoughts, whatever, and either way, my emotions won't be hurt one iddy ickly bit. ;D

its been mentioned before. if you go thru there is a thread that has a ton about why not too. there isnt a lot of lit being posted in chillout where it should be posted so there isnt much need for one. many threads were being posted about video games and debates, so boards were made for them. but there hasnt been so many lit threads of late, so i dont think so

Perhaps the reason nothing being posted about it is because there really isn't a proper place, persay, to post it. I'll wait for more opinions anyway.

there really isnt a place to post about your board being hacked but there are two threads about it on the first page of chillout. if there isnt anywhere else to post it, chillout is the place.

Most boards that are based around the idea of offering a place to talk about something are only made once it's clear it needs a new board to contain it.

My point being- when Chillout is full of literature-based posts, we'll consider a literature board more seriously.
