I browsed dA for more than an hour last night looking for artists I thought were worthy of being interviewed. I know you're looking for more professionalism, but I'm hoping you aren't looking for the known artists that everybody has already seen. Nullermanden (currently interviewing) bosniak (agreed to an interview) Nlr4 (I'm awaiting a response for this one) Those three people are photographers. BosniaK's primary language is French, so his English is a little rough (so he says in his response note). I'm not entirely sure how I'd find authors/writers to interview. That one seems to be posing a bit of trouble. I found a literature daily deviation featured (just from yesterday, didn't search anymore than that), but the writer only had about five deviations and was quite new to dA, so I figured it'd be better not to do that one. I'll have a look around some more and see what comes up though. Oh, one more thing: I'm not entirely sure if Nlr4 is fluent in English... but I'm hoping she is, heheh.

Just a question - do the potential subjects for interviewing have to be great artists/photographers/writers/designers/etc. or could they be up and coming with obvious improvement in each piece of work? I know some people who aren't the best but are definitely improving their skills on a regular basis. As for my suggestions, let me browse around dA a bit and find some good up and coming talent. I think starting off with a balanced mix of the lesser known artists along with the big names would be best.

j3concepts - Vector artist; you can tell he's got real talent as he is able to greatly vary his style with each piece he makes lukeroberts - Photographer; mainly urban imagery, and although he's not one of the best on dA, he has an interesting way about his stuff aiRaGe - Digital Painting's his specialty (I'm in love with his work, personally). He also lists art design from games and movies as inspiration for many of his pieces, so I personally think that it would be a good idea to get more info about that.

I really need you guys to take some of these.
So far, Whit is the only one who has contributed any new interviews. I need to know that all of my interview mods are capable of handling this job- and that involves taking the initiative when I don't have time to make detailed assignments.
