Coming live, from Detroit! by Kay
Interviewer: Kay
Interviewee: A_Leon
Joining us from the Hard Rock Cafe, in Detroit, we have James. How are you enjoying your time at the HRC?
Quite enjoying it a lot. I didn't know we had one in Michigan until yesterday. I hope to get another shirt before I leave.
When's your date of birth? And is there anything interesting about that day?
November 19th, 1989. One interesting thing is that I was born two months premature. Along with that, I tried to kill myself while in the womb still.
, care to explain that one?
I managed to wrap the umbilical cord around my neck. Doing so, I was killing myself. My heart rate dropped to a critical status and they had to perform an emergency c-section to save me.
Any other mishaps since your birth?
Severe allergy to cats that nearly killed me when I was 3 months old, but other than that... not really.
Interesting…care to fill the people in on what brought you here(HRC) in the first place?
The food. Dinnertime came along and I decided I wanted a burger from here. So I pestered my dad to come here and we did. Not to mention, their music selection kicks ass. Listen to good music, -and- have good food. For example, Diary Of Jane is playing right now.
Since your last interview, what've you been up to? Anything new in your life?
I've been up to little, as usual. Started working on v6. Nearly lost a close friend, but she came back around a few months later. Then after nearly a year and a half, finally ended things with Whit. I'm not going to go into why or tell a story, but they're done with. We remain friends though. There is somebody I'm seeing, but I'm going to remain quiet on who.
v6? Is there any exciting coding features you can let us in on?
Oh there's plenty. But that "you can let us in on" sends them back into the briefcase.
You're no fun. Speaking of "no fun", school's just around the corner, what year are you going into, and is there anything you're looking forward to?
I'm going into year 12, which means I'll be a senior. I'm looking forward to some of the classes actually, but for more than one reason. The most obvious is because I like the courses. But another reason, is I'll be taking a lot of classes with Aubrey. And being she lives just down the road, we'll be able to help each other out when needed (something we developed this last year in Networking. Works quite well, so we're doing it again this year). Other than that, I'm looking forward to getting out of high school.
Senior, eh? Meaning college soon. What are your plans after high school?
College, as you just stated. As for where, that's a tough one. I'm hoping for MIT, but I highly doubt I'll get that. So another one I'm looking at is Washington State University. Especially being I've always wanted to go there.
Random question, MySpace. What're your thoughts on it?
Though I have one (mainly so people will stop bugging me to get one), I still dislike it. I honestly don't know why though. Something about it just rubs me the wrong way. If you have one, good for you. If you don't... well, good for you. Makes no difference to me. It's just kind of there. Kind of like Canada.
Steering away from Canada...and digging a little "in-depth", what is your full name? Many seem to think it's actually Alien, though I know better.
My full name is James Robert Wallor Jr. Though I generally go by Alien or Jim.
Jr, meaning you're named after your father?
Correct. Not sure I like that though. He wants me to name my child (if I have a boy) the same, to preserve the name... but we'll see about that when that time comes.
Alrighty, well I think I've pried enough for one night, so I'll ask you two more random questions...I saw your post in the Chillout about "School Popularity", you mentioned you have a cult at school?
Haha, yeah. People will randomly pick me up in the halls and carry me to my next class, as they see it's too great of a burden for me to walk. Ah they amuse me to no end.
Lucky you. Last bit...we all learned about Cody's (California) death not too long ago...how'd that effect you?
I feel that it's a shame that it happened. He seemed to have a lot of potential. I can't say the event slowed me down, or that I was laden with sorrow, but that's only because I believe that everything happens for a reason. There was a reason for it, though we may never fully know what it was. Being a man of faith, I feel it's best to let God's plan play out and to just try and get by, day-by-day.
Yes, that he does. Well, I think I've taken up enough of your "precious" time. I'll let you get back to your food now. Any last words?
Naw, don't really have any last words. Food is here now and I'm going to enjoy it now. Thanks for chosing to bore people with stuff about me.
