Hi Reedy! How are you?
Hey, I'm fine thank you...and yourself?
I'm peachy.
Care to tell us the basics?
Name: Carl Reed
Age: 15
Birthday: 12th October 1989
Sex: Male
When you're not on the computer, what do you find yourself doing? Any particular hobbies?
I'm either sleeping or eating. But other than come online I usually go out with my friends, play some football (soccer to the rest) or just chillout and play the ps2. I'm pretty lazy.
How long have you been a member here at SSD?
Erm, just under a year. I think I joined in June sometime.
How did you come across this forum?
I found the link at another forum, I had visited this forum many times before i decided to register.
What do you like most about SSD?
The staff and members, among many other things they keep this place together.
Any personal favorite boards you tend to always go in?
Digital Image Duels, Show Off, Sig of the Week, Chillout and a secret board.
Alright. So, we all know you're great at doing vector art. What got you into doing it?
Just looking through galleries at DeviantART, the work was amazing and inspired me to start making some vector work.
How long, on average, does it take for you to make an image?
It can vary, it must take me around 3/4 hours to get something pretty much done. Then will take the rest of the day trying to improve it.
Who's your own favorite vector artist?
Either He1z, Lee25 or Digitalshock. Mr Longstaff is quite the vector artist as well
Hehe. How does it feel to be a wonderful vector artist yourself?
I'm a wonderful vector artist? wow, cool ;D I'm just happy people like my work.
Out of all your pieces, which one are you most proud of?
'Into the Night', i really love that piece. Although it seems a little depressing.
So, you're a member of SSD's Art Group. What's it like? Are there any themes that you hope to be able to take part in, in the future?
It's great, an honor to be apart of it . I'm not sure to be honest, we will see what comes up.
And for yourself -- are there things that you'd like to accomplish for yourself? Future goals?
I don't know to be honest, I haven't got or had any goals...as I have said I am just happy people enjoy my artwork and I hope to inspire artists.
Do I ask too many questions?
Course not, but I expect a cookie for answering them all ;D
Have you enjoyed answering them?
Yup yup, I enjoyed it.
Sum of thoughts?
I am hungry. I am proud to be apart of the SSD community and cannot wait to see what develops from it in the near future.
Thanks, Reedy, for letting me interview you.
It was a pleasure, thank you
