Non Cross-Browser -- (Only Internet Explorer supports glowing text)
This code allows you to make the link of a specific user glow. It's possible to make admins and g-mods glow by simply using CSS. But if you want Moderators or other members to glow (or specific Admins/Gmods), then this is the code for you.
If you're using this code for Mods, then I'd suggest putting it in each board and calling the bottom function for only the Mods of that board, as well as the Main Footer. Put it anywhere you want that member's name to glow.
FOOTERS
Just change the properties of the glowName call at the bottom. You can use hex colors or basic color names like 'red', 'blue', 'yellow', etc. 2 & 1 are the recommended values for strength and height, respectively.
You'll need to copy the line:
glowName('someuser', '#000000', '#FF0000', '2', '1');
for each member that you want to glow. If you are using this for your moderators, keep in mind that you'll have to update it each time you add/drop a mod. There is no way that I know of to have all your regular Moderators glowing or colored without this code since they are treated as regular members There is no .moduser like there are .gmoduser and .adminuser in stylesheets. There might be a .user but that would make all your regular members glow.
And of course, remember to use the user's real username -- what they use to log in -- and not their "display name"!
So have fun
