Congrats to Tao Ren for taking over the most SOTW wins ever! Woot
This week's goal is to create a new avatar and signature for The Herald. Kay requested it be two weeks long, so that we can get as many entries as possible.
The winner will also be chosen by Kay and myself. So, be forewarned... I guess.
If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to post them here.

It was just about 40 weeks ago I guess.

I'm getting rather annoyed with SOTW.
Tao's sig didn't look 'Urban', no where near gritty enough. It's obviously a good sig but if it doesn't fit the theme that well, it shouldn't win.

What... Tao's was the best sig, and it relates perfectly. Just because you aren't winning doesn't mean you should bash other peoples entries.
Congrats Tao!
Herald, Knighty? I really don't think it needs to be changed yet but what ev'

I'm not bashing it and I'm not saying it's not a good sig, I'm saying it doesn't fit the theme. Well I must a have a different view of what constitutes 'urban' than other people. Skating is urban, gritty brickwork and darker colors are urban. Tao's is bright and vibrant with light colors, not very urban. At least, that's what I thought.

ur·ban [ur-buhn] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation –adjective 1. of, pertaining to, or designating a city or town. 2. living in a city. 3. characteristic of or accustomed to cities; citified: He is an urban type.
------
Background is a city, I guess its tough to see, but you can spot a few buildings. The paint splatters pull in the idea of grafitti, a common sight in cities today.
And black people... they don't define urban, but are a large part of large city and urban living where things such as grafitti happens.
Urban, isn't just one specific thing, any SOTW can be manipulated and shown in many ways. If Knighty has any sense of the theme being present, then it is fair to judge.

It's overdue for a new av/sig set, honestly. The current one has been up for over a year, thank you. Just because according to the SOTW it's been 40 weeks, I know there were weeks in between that SOTW wasn't posted, or whatever. However, with that said, I wasn't the only one wanting a new look for it. Car did as well. So if you don't like that I want something new, well, even the head honcho does.

Now it'll be Maxwell and I. Woooo. David, I love you, really.
