Abstract Images by stinky666
Posted on his behalf as he has problems posting, so don't start asking me about any problems with it.
This is how i make all my abstract images...This has been tested on PSP 7 only, but im pretty sure it works on PSP 8 aswell.....
Step 1)
make a 600x600 black image, then use a couple of different colors and scribble on the image, not too mcuh though, make sure there is still some black left, then select your "Picture Tube Tool" and right click on it and choose "Tool Options" then select the "Neon Green" picture tube, set the size to anything you want, i used the size "100" and set "Step" to "1", now scribble on the image with that, but not too much, do it a fair bit though, go over the over colors u used, but make sure u can still see some of the other colors....
Here is what i have so far:
Step 2)
Then select ur picture tube again, right click on it and choose "Tool Options" and then select the "3D Green" tube, set the size to something like "50" and scribble with that, but be sure not to go over too much of the Neon Green u scribbled with.
Now go to Effects then go to 3D Effects and click Buttonize, use the following settings:
Height: 13
Width: 34
Opacity: 65
Solid edge: checked
then click ok...
Step 3)
Now go to Effects then go to Geometric Effects and choose Warp, use these settings:
Horizontal: 0
vertical: 0
size: 100
strength: -100
Then click ok....
Step 4)
Then Press SHIFT + L to colorize ur image, then set it to whatever color u want, then click ok, then go back to Effects > then Geometric Effects and warp, then click ok...
And you shud have something like this:
Step5)
Now use the 3D Green Picture Tube to go around the edges of the image, like so:
Step 6)
And then go to Effects > Then go to Geometric Effects, and click on Warp, and change the strength to -50 then click ok, then press SHIFT + L to colorize, then click ok, and u shud now have something like this:
You can end here if u want, to make a sig or avatar continue to read..
Step 7)
Choose the selection tool, rectangle, and then select which ever area of the image u want, or just press CTRL+C to select all, then make a new image (press CTRL+N) and then press CTRL+E to paste the image, and then move it about till u get the bit u want a a sig, or avatar......
Hope that helped and i hope it is easy to understand....any questions or comments, please pot below....
