tutorial sent to em by Atramental aka Eternity through PM, and im posting it for others....
Im going to teach you how to put an animated avvy/avatar into a sig/signature.
Firstly, have a sig with a cut out transparent part to it, like so:
and also make sure you have a gif big enough/small enough to fit into the cutout part of the sig, then open up Animation Shop, and then do the following:
1.) Open both images up and count the frames you have in the animated file/avvy.
2.) Now, insert the exact same amount of frames into your signature, making sure to copy the sig frame, not just insert blank frames.
3.) Now go back to your animation and copy the first frame. Now, paste this frame into the first frame of your signature, the image wont fix itself til you click again so position it exactly over the area you cut. Do this for the rest of the frames too. You will probably need to change the frame rate in your siganture so change it to the same rate as the animation.
4.) If you have a sig which hasnt just got a square/circle or any other shape cut out. Lets say it has a cut out shape like the >>example image.<< If it does, or it has a different kind of odd shaped cut out, you are going to need to open the image by itself, and then press CTRL+C to copy the image, the click on the animation in the sig, and press CTRL+E to paste the image onto it. Do this for every frame. This is so the animation is behind the sig.....
Hope you understand/understood the tutorial...
Any problems, please let me know
Please feel free to post your end results..
(Sorry i couldnt/didnt supply any imagese (Photoshop)
