Cinema 4D/Photoshop CS Tutorial
first were going to use C4D,
goto Object>Primitive>Capsule
press "c" to edit it,now you will see a toolbar on the left ,select the 5th down (looks like a grid with orange balls)
now right click on the image and select Magnet,now just mess around with the shape,after your finished
goto Structure>Edit Surface>Matrix Extrude..settings are Steps 10 / Move X-25 Move Y-25 Move Z-50
now click on Materials>File>New Material
there should be a black ball in the materials box
also a box will appear at the bottom left
click the Image box and select an image
now right click on the ball (in the materials box)
and goto render all materials,now drag it up to the capsule (top left box there will be a icon saying “Capsule”) after you have the right image for the material
goto render>render settings>output and change the size ect.. im using 500x200 px
goto render>render in picture viewer>save as…
now we go on to Photoshop
open the image you just made with C4D,
copy the layer 3 times,
select the 3rd layer (right click on the image)
goto filter>neon glow , settings are Glow size -1 Glow brightness 50
goto filter>sketch>water paper settings are fiber length 50,brightness 55,contrast 44
goto layer>layer style>blending options,set the blend mode to linear light / opacity 75%
now select the 2nd layer
goto filter>stylize>find edges now press Ctrl+I to invert it,
now if you have the plugins use alien skin xenofex 2 and select lightning
filter>Alien skin xenofex2>lightning its up to you what settings you choose
now goto filter>alien skin eye candy 5>texture noise
and choose you own settings.
After you’ve done all that goto layers>merge visible.
Now press Ctrl+U to colorize it , I set mine to Hue 225,saturation 25,lightness 0
