1) Make a new Paint worksheet and double click on any colour in the colour palette, the following window should open: 2) Select the colour you want the gradient to be, in this case I choose blue. Take a screenshot (press the button to the right of F12) of the gradient that is already there: 3) Paste the screenshot into paint (Ctrl + V) the select the part of it with the selection tool which you want your gradient to look like: Copy the selection you have made, and paste it into a blank worksheet. There you have it, and easy way to make gradients using Microsoft paint

I had just been adding the colours one by one to the custom colours list, quick and effective way. Well done.

...or if you wanted to have a larger range of color in a smaller sapce, you could "lasso" the gradient and go to Image --> Stretch/Skew and from there you can make it wider, longer, w/e.

How can you guys say this. It looks like you're all lieing. Once you paste the screenshot, you have to erase every single thing of the screenshot so only the gradient is left. That takes A LOT of time.

It takes under 30 seconds, all you need to do is erase everything with the selection tool. or you could just use the rectagle select tool to select the grad and cut it from the image. then goto "image" on the menu bar and click "erase image" that's takes about 15-20 seconds depending on how fast you are

I'm having a problem with this. I can't seem to use the screenshot thing. The button next to F12 is print screen and no matter how many times I press it it doesn't seem to work. Where does the screenshots save themselves?
Thank you in advance.

it copies the current screen onto the clipboard. after you press print screen, use the edit >> paste method instead of Ctrl +V.
