it was hard because the images are completely differant but my vote aussie
Aussie: i love the photo manip here though i cant tell everything you did to it but what i do kno is that it works
jon: the bg is too bright for me and the stock isnt blended in, i would suggest usin the blur tool to blur the edges then make a copy of the image put it below the origanal an use a motion blur
good job both

Thanks key! it was a mixture of textures clone tooling(lotsof) of adjustment layers and slight brushing here and there, i quite like it and its a new style that sig designers are touching on so i might make a tut for it i dunno. Anyhow thanks for the vote.

Aussie: Not a bad piece at all, but I think it could have been a little better. The border on the bottom does not look good like that, it would have been better just to keep it stock. I like the text, but I do not like what you put under the text. Other than those two things, I love it!
Jon Utah: Well done on this piece, Jon. The only thing I would say is to lose the different color eyes, especially if they are going to be totally opposite like green and red. Nice text, and good placement of everything. Well done!

Aussie: I definitely like this sig quite a bit. I like the fact that you used a Terragen render in your sig as that's not very common. I like the balance between the mountains and the sky and the color balancing was done nicely. My only "problem" with your sig is the text. I feel the font could be a little more ornate and that the overall text is a bit small and placed where it is hard to read. I'd suggest altering the color and placement. Jon Utah: Clean and simple, but hey, it works here. The background isn't overpowering, which is good. I feel you blended the render well and the text is nice and legible. Nice border, too. Vote: AussieI just feel his was more creative and had an overall larger appeal to me. Good job, both of you.

If you look really closely around the edges, you will see a small area that looks like it has been modified.

Jon Utah: Excellent work. It really isn't a bad sig. But, aussies was more visually appealing to me I guess. My favorite thing about your sig was the brush chosen and the render. They just all flow so well together. Plus, it has a nice and clean look. Nothing much to suggest. I blend the brush you used for the BG on parts of the render. Make the border white instead. Add some light and dark patches to the BG as well. Definitley an excellent sig. Try entering it in other battles on other boards. I think it could win you some! Aussie: Stuff like this is why I said I was afraid of you in the Arctic battle. This piece has a grunge feel to it which I like. I'd move the text to the center where they sky is and make it more vivid. Also, a nice 1 pixel border wouldn't hurt My Vote: Aussie
