Ok i need help with image mapping if possible please.. I looked in the FAQ, and yeah there is a bit on it, i know how to do it all except the alstpart, where you save as both a html and image.. What do i do after that? In the FAQ, it says this: "Open up the HTML File, right click>>view source Here is an explanation of the coding www.liquidgraphicdesigns.co.uk/image%20mapping.txt" But the link takes me to a 'Page cannot be displayed' page.. Thanks in advance..

Do you get as far as saving your sliced image and HTML page to a new folder?
If so, you can open up the html (htm) page PSP created by going into that folder and looking for the file with the above extension. It's a basic HTML page. The images you sliced, are placed into respective table cells and rows. Each cell has a separate slice of the image.
If you want you can take this HTML by copying the entire table contents and pasting it into your own HTML page. Just have to make sure the images are referenced to correct path.
There is A LOT of extra markup not needed. I prefer to slice and take images and add my own HTML. You just ahve to make sure you add cellpadding=0 and cellspacing=0, otherwise you could get extra space around images, depending on the browsers default setting.
Here is a sample of one:

Oops me too, I told you slicing and not mapping. So above applies then to slicing an image. The difference between the 2 is: Mapping keeps the image a whole and designates certain coordinates as a hyperlink. Slicing, you slice the image into various rectangles/square units and can make individual images a hyperlink. Best for large images to display faster in browser
