For your first question, go View-->Toolbars
Then pick the ones you want back.
To change the color of text, highlight it and right click the color you want on the color palette.

View--->Palettes to see the palettes. Anything that involves a window is in the view menu.

Thanks! See my sig, can i blend images toghter using this program, if so how? Absolutely. Easiest way to combine images the way they did in your sig IMO is to put the photos on different layers and then to use an eraser brush such as the camel hair one (or change the density and opacity on another one) to erase the part you don't want to let the other image to show through on the layer underneath. And so on.

Ok, after you change the opacity to your liking, find the icon that looks like two lines intersecting, and if you keep your mouse over it, it's called move layer. Click on it to move everything thing in that layer. If you want to move one thing, click on the button that is used to downsize things. I cant remember what it looks like, sorry.

Another thing, when you paste it, its easier to paste as a new selection instead of a new layer. (thats why you make a layer for it first)
